ACE I waited impatiently in front of the door my mom was, wandering about like a confused person I persently was, and prayed so badly that nothing was going to happen to her.  Unknowingly glimpsing at Mia, I observed that she seemed so worried like I was. So annoying. She was the mastermind behind everything that was happening.  Earlier, I was really grateful to myself for having to tell her, but after everything that had happened, the only things that filled my heart were regrets. If I had known she would spill it out, I wouldn't have thought of saying anything to her.  I turned from her irritating face, and finally stood in a particular position. My worry rate was increasing rapidly, and wasn't willing to fall at all. Goodness knew if I was going to survive if I saw the only person I loved, leave me. That couldn't happen. Nothing was going to happen to her. 

"Hey Mr Norman." One of the representatives of a really great company in Fort Myers, walked to me, smiling broadly like he just won a lottery. His bright eyes glowered in his wrinkled dark skin, making him seem so appealing. I tried to return his smile, as I walked towards him before he reached me. "Hi Mr Balogun." I greeted him.  "It's really nice to see you again." He stretched his hands for a handshake, still keeping his smile.  I accepted his friendly handshake. "Same here. How have you been?" "I've been doing so great." He replied enthusiastically in his luring African intonation. "It's just that I've been quite busy in my country, Nigeria. I haven't had time to work here in the states." "Oh. I get you." I nodded my head in acceptance. "And thanks for your great proposal in the meeting." "You're highly welcome." He grinned, and raised his hands

Waiting for an answer from her, I stared and did nothing. I wondered what she was planning to say. There was no excuse she could sputter anymore. Her lie was definitely the most stupid thing I had ever heard from anyone. While I searched for some things about her, I saw my picture, my mom's, and our wedding pictures. I seriously couldn't explain how she had them with her, but all I knew was that I was so glad I found it.  A tear dropped from one of her eyes, making her to suddenly avert from our stare. I wish I could feel how hurt she was. Her husband literally sent her out of her home because he couldn't believe her. I was indeed a foolish guy.  She sniffed, and rubbed her palm against her tearing eyes, still not looking at me. "What do you want?" She asked calmly, concentrating on the window as if I wasn't there.  Her weak voice weakened me as well. I became so rueful and sorrowful,

ACE "Daya and Ace." A voice called from behind. I twirled to face who it was, and turned back to wink at Daya. She smiled like she was shy, and her cheeks turned tomato red.  "Stop that Ace." She blushed, and gently hit against my arm. "You're making me feel weird." I smiled stylishly at her, and stood up from sitting beside her. "I'll be leaving now." I informed her, and winked again.  "Good." She said, remaining in her sitting posture.  I bent a little, and dropped a kiss on her cheek. "Bye dear. See you anytime soon." "Bye." She grinned back at me.  "Good luck on your date." I added silently, still bending to her ear.  "Thank you." She replied in a whisper.  I turned to the door, and smiled at the young adult my seventeen years
