Sia felt like a feather had brushed her forehead. She snapped open her eyes when she realized that it was someone’s fingers. A shiver ran down Sia’s spine when she saw him. What did he want now? She got up and scrambled down but stumbled. She felt panic rise within her when she saw him coming towards her. She raised her hands and yelled, “Don’t come near me….. Sia woke up groggily. She felt that something was off. You know that feeling we get as if the landscape has changed on us. She couldn’t put a finger on why she was feeling so weird.She yawned and stretched her arms. The strong rays of the sun had already streamed in through the open window. “When did I leave the window open.” She muttered as she got up. Then it dawned on her. Wasn’t she waiting for Sam to come to the Viper’s rock? She had been so delighted when he came. She managed to tell him her story with great difficulty.“But, what reply did he give?” She wondered scratching her head. She couldn’t remember his response. Oh!
