Lahat ng Kabanata ng That Girl In Glasses: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

He couldn't remember the last time he had pined over another female after she had left his life. He made sure to pull her against himself and nuzzle his head in the crook of her neck,  taking deep whiffs of her scent.    Her shoulders tensed and she turned away from the sandwich she was trying to pull together and her bright ginger brown eyes made even brighter due to the steady stream of sunlight from the windows behind them,  to stare up into his fresh scrubbed face. "Dario." His head lowered again,  tickling her with his soft tresses of hair which weren't up in ponytail for a change and growled in response. He loved the way she said his name. Her African accent blessed her words making it sound like the finest word to his ears.

Houses,  People and small buildings hurtle past them as Dario clamped his foot down on the had pedal while Mary prayed silently to whatever forces in the skies. Please let them not do anything to her.  She had no doubt that sad excuse  of a father would do anything to pull her out of her hiding spot. She considered the man beside her from beneath her sable lashes. Thick locks of healthy hair managed to escape the tight ponytail framing his face. She had always had a thing for men with long hair. It was just by coincidence she had met him and they got together. An ear splitting screech resounded around the silent street when he promptly stepped in the brakes and they both came out of the car.The familiar building loomed over then menacingly like a shark with open teeth ready for it's meal but Mary needed to be strong if she wanted this all to go according to plan. She twisted around to adore the determ

Morowa. At least the man didn't really ‘touch’ me yet. I just wanted to get his scent off me. Beer, smoke and drugs. He even dared to rip my clothes of. Heat spread on every inch of my skin everytime the memory of the way I was in my birthday suit beneath that monster. Just at the last minute when he had almost taken my virginity,  a woman who seemed to be my godsent, busted through the door, attacked him with a vase while I gathered my clothes and tried not to feel too embarrassed but who was I trying to deceive?Currently I was laying on a comfortable bed decorated with floral patterned sheets and cocooned in a faint lavender and Jasmine scent. This place was a home for sure and it must have belong to the woman who  saved me. The woman who rescued me. Why had she referred to me as her daughter while she threatened the man?Determined on finding answers to my questions,  I threw my legs over the edge of

Mary watched her daughter leave knowing she couldn't do anything to stop her. No matter how much she called,  she wouldn't turn back. She wasn’t just shocked,  she was angry and Mary blamed herself for it all.“Zhurah, she'll be fine.” Dario caressed her forearm in circularity motions. “We have to find Tyler.”She nodded and pressed her lips together. Tyler. The one person she wasn't hoping to see in years but here she was,  planning to hunt him down. “Where do you think he might be?”“Well,  let's visit his manor first.” He said,  his fingers stroking the day old stubble on his chin. “If he isn't there , we go back to that place in his estate and wait for him to arrive,  undercover of course.&rdq

Warren. The image of moving figures of the bodies pressed against each other in an obscene dance,  blurred slightly and I knew this wasn't a good idea. Too late for regrets.“Come on handsome,  dance and live move that sexy body.” Some nameless chick clad in little or almost no clothing, threw her arm in the air, swaying her hips and trying to shake the nonexistent female parts.“Uh, I need some air.” I said and peeled the manicured fingers of the hand which dug tightly into my forearm with all my strength. Yeesh. Talk about a strong grip.A dark mass whipped past my peripheral vision before the group cheered and it took me a while to realize a strip tease was in play. Dumb teens.
