Chapter 20: Ready…set…go…
Samantha POV   Last night did me good. Not only did I get rid of all the pent-up tension, but I also got my wish. When I ran into Tyson and we figured out we were mates, it just wasn’t what I wanted. He’s from the same world but then again from a different species, and even so he was a hot and amazing lover. He was not Marcus, and Marcus was the one I intended to get and be with, but I could work with this for a while. So we agreed that we have to fix the mistake in pairing us with the wrong shifters, and with his help, I knew I could get Marcus back. It was early in the morning, which meant training for us, and I knew Marcus was going to be there too, so here I was in my room, dressing up just for him. My pink sports bra was showing just enough to make him go crazy when he saw me. Not to mention my tight black shorts with pink lines on the edges that showe

Chapter 21: Trip
The day of the camp   Marcus POV   Today was the day we were all heading to the camp training. I couldn’t say that I wasn’t excited about it. Yes, I would start more intense Alpha training, but at the same time, it would be like a little getaway from home. My dad had been on my back nonstop, pushing me to learn everything there was for me to learn for when I took over as Alpha and making me train harder than everyone else. The only times I’ve been out of his grasp was when I was at school. The days following the night of the party when Olivia and I kissed for the second time were frustrating as hell. Whenever we would see each other, it seemed that that asshole Tyson was glued to her side, or if I saw an opportunity to approach her, I was blocked by Samant

Chapter 22: History
Olivia POV   My house was like a train station with everyone running around gathering all the things and packing them into the SUV that was waiting to take us to the camp. When my mom saw how James packed his bag, she almost had a stroke. He just dumped all of his clothes inside his bag without any care about them being wrinkled. Mom couldn’t take it so she redid his bag and folded it all neatly. My mom was a little bit of a neat freak, but I was almost a hundred percent positive that James did that on purpose so she would do his packing. The lazy ass. So here I was, rushing around my room as I mentally made a list of all the things I might need while we were at camp.  This was the first time in a long time that a huge gathering was to happen in one place, with people from

Chapter 23: Damon Pierce
Olivia POV   Damon Pierce.   A name that sent chills down my spine. The notorious Alpha-to-be of the Opal pack. He was here, greeting our teacher with a million-dollar smile plastered on his face. He was a huge, good-looking guy, and I could see girls fanning themselves as they were ogling him. He screamed power, almost the same way Marcus did, but it was no wonder because of their pack’s pasts. I looked over at Marcus, and he was stone-faced while he watched the exchange of polite formalities between the teacher and Damon. I couldn’t read him, but when he looked over at me, everything around me was gone and I was lost in the deep pools of his gray thunderous eyes. I could stay like that forever, but then reality came back crashing into me when I heard Tyson whisper into my ear.

Chapter 24: Dispute
Olivia POV   When we heard the growl, Damon and I turned towards it. We saw Marcus stand up abruptly, his entire frame shaking with rage and his eyes focusing on the arms wrapped around my waist. Oh shit… He stormed towards us and all I could do was watch in fear and confusion. Even my brother was surprised as he looked over at Marcus, then back at Damon. “Well, well, well… this is interesting,” I heard Damon say with his gaze set on Marcus. He pulled me up and slowly pushed me behind his tall, bulky frame, which elicited another growl from Marcus. Damon was seemingly not affected by Marcus’s warnings as he stood there casually with a smirk plastered on his face. As Marcus walked towards us, his two friends flanked his sides while two tall guys slowly approached Damon and stood casually behind him. Ev

Chapter 25: Sparing
Olivia POV   “No.” As I sat there in Mr. Green’s office, I knew he was talking but I couldn’t hear a single word he said. I was feeling numb, to say the least. Tears wanted to fall from my eyes but I was holding my breath, trying hard not to shed any. A simple word that cut like a knife. The moment he said it, I felt as though my heart was ripped out of my chest and torn into a million tiny pieces. It knocked all the air from my lungs, and I tried so hard not to show how affected I was by it. Damon snorted, and when he looked at me, I could see confusion and what seemed to be sympathy. I didn’t want that; I didn’t want any of this. From that simple but deadly No, I wanted to run away and not look back. I didn’t know what I expected, but I knew I would not

Chapter 26: Wolf strength
Olivia POV   As we got closer to the Alpha training area, my group and I slowed a little down and watched the scene that was unfolding in front of us. Marcus stood tall as he faced Tyson. He looked intimidating as his focus was purely on Tyson. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him as I took him fully in. His stance was wide and his drenched shirt clung tightly to every curve of his muscles. His arms were casually hanging on his sides as he kept his fists closed. The black shorts he was wearing fit him perfectly and showed off his strong, muscular legs. My mouth was watering as I watched him, but what happened next was what made my breath hitch in my throat. As their trainer came and said to get ready to start, Marcus and Tyson peeled off their shirts, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the slow movement of Marcus flexi

Chapter 27: A date?
Olivia POV   It’s been a few days since we came to the camp and that training when Marcus and Tyson fought each other. Thanks to our shifter genes, Tyson healed pretty quickly from his broken nose. One of his ribs was also broken and he had a few small bruises here and there. He wasn’t hurt too badly. Marcus had mostly bruises, but nothing was damaged. To add to my wonderful messed up story, Damon didn’t leave me alone either. Not only had I been bumping into him constantly, but he was also openly flirty with me, especially near Marcus, which would lead to two of his friends pulling him away or Samantha taking the opportunity to get her claws into him and leading him somewhere away from us. That only fueled Damon’s desire to pick on Marcus, and I wished I could just smack him on the head for playing with fire… yes, he is a dragon… ironic

Chapter 28: The bonfire part 1.
Olivia POV   The night was a little chilly and breezy as the sky was clear with sparkling stars that shine above our heads. I couldn’t believe I was here now, walking alongside none other but Damon towards the bonfire. I was surprised, to say the least when he came to my door and as he said to pick me up. We joked and laughed as we walked, and I was surprised as to how easy it actually was to talk with him. When he wanted, he could be a fun guy and a gentleman, and I liked that side of him, easy-going and relaxed, not the guy who was flirty and trying to rile Marcus up by provoking him with any gesture that popped on his head.

Chapter 29: The bonfire part 2.
Olivia POV   My eyes were wide as I sat there frozen in place. No… This can’t be… Why of all the people it had to be her? I inspected her closely as my eyes moved over her slowly. She was wearing tight black jeans and a loose shirt. Her hands caught my attention as I saw her buckle up her jeans. What?! She moved closer to Marcus as her arms wrapped around his neck, racking her fingers into his hair in an attempt to pull him down, closer to her while she stood on her tiptoes. My blood was boiling as my body started to shake in rage.
