Third Person Pov Michael waits , lying down on the floor mattress , pretending to be asleep . He listens intensely for the sign of her slumber . Alexis's Pov I was half asleep when I felt something poking my arm .  Thinking it was some kind of insect , I yelp and suddenly get up to turn on the table light right next to the bed . I stare at the bed . There wasn't an insect or anything but there was .. " A fish hook ? " I pick it up in confusion . Before I fell asleep , I was sure this wasn't on the bed . I'm sure it wasn't in the room actually , let alone the bed . What would a fish hook be doing here ? The next morning I lazily get up , purposely pushing it even though I was awake . I keep my eyes closed and force myself to sleep more , turning over possibly a hundred times .
