Chapter Seventeen
Kane stood outside waiting to talk  to the prospect that had been put in charge of watching the house in town. He had been surprised  when he found the car empty and was a little worried that something had happened in the middle of the night. He looked up in surprise when he saw the prospect exit the house. Something about him leaving her home early in the morning didn’t sit right with him.  “What were you doing inside?” Kane asked when the prospect stood in front of him.  “She made me, man.” He said, shrugging.  “She made you? How the fuck did she do that?” Kane asked, frowning.  “I think she’s known for a while that we were watching her.” The prospect said.  “How the heck?” Kane mumbl

Chapter Eighteen
Kane watched as Bridgette’s body seemed to coil ready for a fight. Her chin seemed to be held a little higher as she stared at the woman. Kane could almost smell the contempt rolling off of her. There was something else mixed in with it but he couldn’t put his finger on it.  “Ma’am, pardon my rudeness but let me see if I understand what you’re trying to say. You have made multiple trips to my land, the one I specifically told you I wouldn’t sell back to you and then told you to leave immediately. Option two is just as bad though if not worse because that means that you got my billing information from one of the contractors I had hired to work on my house or stalked me. Does that sound right to you?” She asked.  “Um… uh… I” The woman stammered again.  “Tell me ma’am, which one was it?” Bridget

Chapter Nineteen
A/N: There is a scene with severe violence in this chapter. Look for the ****** if you want to skip ahead. However, there is important information divulged.   Kane shrugged before going to do as she said. He came back with a frown on his face which she took to mean that the prospect was nowhere in sight. Bridgette sighed and then smiled. Sammy wouldn’t be walking into a bloody scene which left Bridgette free to do as she pleased for a few moments. Bridgette grabbed  her hunting knife from the dining table and ran a finger across the blade, smiling at its sharpness. She ignored the mild sting as it bit into her flesh. She held her finger up for the other woman to see. The whole time that same sweet smile was on her lips. ******** “Well, looks like you won't mind missing the

Chapter Twenty
A/N: Look for the ***** more scense of torture ahead.    Bridgette’s voice had been subdued. He knew it must have been hard to hear her aunt talk like that. He couldn’t help but wonder just how many times she used that excuse to get what she wanted. People in this town were genuinely nice people and often felt pity for widows or people that lost their loved ones. He glared at Ginny in disgust but felt compelled to agree with Bridgette. His code was not something that he would sacrifice on someone like Ginny, though the woman tried his patience unlike any other.  When Bridgette returned she seemed calmer. In fact her eyes seemed brighter and  she seemed lighter  than before. Even though she still played with the knife, she didn’t seem as ready to explode as before. It had him wondering just how keyed up she had been and for how long. Whatever happened he was glad fo

Chapter Twenty-One
Ginny relished in the memories or her niece being raped and beaten repeatedly. Even now she felt herself growing wetter and wetter by the second as her frazzled mind took her back to the past. Took her back to the times where they would beat the young woman and then take her like a bitch in heat. Kane stood there in shock as he stared at the woman before him. She had to be the most disgusting person he had ever met in his entire life. He saw her wiggling and trying to relieve the ache between her thighs. His stomach turned with nausea. “I let them take me.” She whispered, turning to look at Kane with glassy eyes. “I let them take me, all of me, as they raped her. I’d never been so turned on in my life. I’ll let you take me too. All you have to do is help me escape.”

Chapter Twenty-Two
While Bridgette’s eyes were lifeless Kane’s eyes held pain and rage. Dex hated seeing his friend like this. She seemed small and almost broken. She was nothing like the mischievous friend he used to know. Instead of staying around to talk Bridgette went to the living room and grabbed a throw blanket from across the couch and curled up on herself. Kane shrugged before they turned back towards Ginny. They worked quickly and silently as they tied her up and then stuffed her into the body bag. Dex grabbed the finger tips that had been cut off and put them in a bag before hoisting Ginny over his shoulder. “I’ll have the cleaning crew stop by and-” “Don’t bother.” Bridgette said from her spot on the couch.

Chapter Twenty-Three
Bridgette slid off of his lap and went to her room to get dressed. She didn’t know what to tell Kane about who they were going to meet up with. She shrugged  and quickly changed her clothes. After slipping on a pair of black combat boots she went down stairs and met Kane outside.    They stopped by The Coffee Palace and Kane quickly  ran inside the building. Less than five minutes later Kane was back outside. Bridgette sighed and started up her car as he climbed on his bike.    It didn’t take long before they pulled up outside the house in the country. Kane looked around after he pulled in behind her. Bridgette climbed out of her car and led Kane to an old shed  on the other side of the property.    “Thank you for meeting me.” Said an older guy

Chapter Twenty-Four
Bernard Shaw paced back and forth in his office. It had been weeks since he and Digger had heard a single word from her. He was beyond angry. His rage was already at its limit with both Fabian and Digger failing to find his little runaway. Now Ginny was missing. It wasn’t like Ginny to disappear without a word. He wondered if something had happened to her or if she had run out of fear of what her failure would cost her.  Bernard knew that he wasn’t a nice man nor did he have the illusion that he was easy to get along with. No. He knew for a fact that people feared and loathed him. It was something that he relished in. He savored their fear like an aphrodisiac and enjoyed the high he got from grown men cowering in front of him like children who had been scolded unnecessarily by a domineering figurehead. He would often relish in their tears as they begged for their pathetic and worthless lives. The she

Chapter Twenty-Five
Kane sighed as he looked at her. She definitely looked tired and thinner. Her blonde hair was piled on top of her head and she wore an oversized sweatshirt and some long pajama bottoms. Kane found himself wondering about her clothing of choice given the Texas heat especially in the middle of September. “What happened?” She asked, looking up at him with tired eyes. “Your aunt… she somehow escaped.” He said, feeling embarrassed as the young woman looked up at him in astonishment and then in anger. “She escaped?” She asked, rubbing at her forehead. “I’m looking into it but I felt like this was something that you needed to hear in person.” Kane said, trying to gauge the emotions swirling in
