That night while the other partied, Raul found his way, using his sense of smell and following Virgil’s directions to locate the hideout of the werewolves in the city.He had to ditch Claire’s friend to be there. He had her in his bed and had drugged her drink so she would fall into a deep sleep to buy him enough time to find them. She was fast asleep when he crept out and transformed to allow him the speed he needed to beat time.He had planned it earlier with Virgil who had given him the pills to use in making her fall into a deep sleep. It worked, and since he was not at the club with the rest which she agreed to, it was easy to actualize his plans.He was able to find the group and in his werewolf form, he approached their circle slowly. They watched him, ready for a fight. The alpha of the group came forward and realizing the werewolf was not there for a fight, asked in a calm voice.“Who are you; and why are you here?”

Ella paused, gazing at him. She liked Raul and hoped that he would like her too. She was amazed to see that he was rejecting her so she devised a strategy.
