Alpha Of The Night のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

Modi and May were out in the bushes as they usually did whenever they wanted some privacy alone. They have both grown so attached in months since May’s arrival to their pack.Modi kissed May on the lips briefly and smiled at her.“Thank you.”“For what?” she smiled back at him.“For coming into my life.” Modi was a little shy; he avoided looking into her eyes while speaking to her.May chuckled like a baby. “I don’t know what to say to that but you’re really sweet.”“Ok… but I want to know. Are you happy here?”“Of course I am, Modi.”“And do you… like me?”“I love you, Modi.” She threw her hands around his neck and hugged him into a kiss. Modi kissed her lying on the grass and May on top of him.“I want you to be happy.”“I am happy.”“Can I as

“I thought about all you said last night and I thought to myself,” Hayley replied soberly. “That I was just being hard on myself and you… I really shouldn’t be beating myself over something that is a past issue and moves on.”Coleen is silent. He listened to her, his eyes fixed on her.“I know you and May have a history together and I admire your concern for her. I wish my brother or anyone else for that matter would do the same for me.” She chuckled. “So, I just feel like since I can’t help my brother anymore and I’m here now, I could do my bit to help out. Starting with this.”Raul’s face lightened up with a bright smile. Hayley blushed and turned her face away from his gaze.“Why do I think there’s something else you’re not telling me?”“You don’t believe me?”“I don’t know. I just… I don’t unde

Modi was pleased to meet Hayley and welcomes her into his kingdom. May was seated beside him watching her alpha’s actions. Hayley’s eyes are fixed on May. She wondered how Raul could have lost such a lovely female. She was barely listening to Modi’s words. May, on the other hand, did not realize she was staring at her. She all smiles watching the scene and Hayley thought she made for a beautiful queen.“She has come in search of her sister, Queen May.” The priest announced while Hayley stood, head slightly bowed down.“Beauty seemed to run in this family.” Modi winked at his queen.May gazed at Hayley a little confused.“I have a sister?” she got on her feet and approached Hayley to take a close look at her.Hayley stared in silence hoping that this plan would not be a waste of her time. because if May remembered her in the slightest or even denies having a sister, it would be a failed plan.

Modi gazed at him in confusion. He wanted to be angry but keeps his cool because he wanted to hear everything the priest had to say. He was upset that the priest had such information but conveniently kept it away from him all this time.“What does that mean?”“I saw you die in a war.” The priest lied. “I looked into the pot and I saw your death. It frightened me so much, I had to make moves to protect you.”Modi listened in silence, his heart beating fast. He has never thought of himself as someone who could easily be killed especially since he had the priest as a part of his pack.“Remember the Moon goddess foresaw a battle and I did show you earlier; a battle between you and your queen’s former lover. Though I didn’t see your death at the time, I did see that you would lose your queen to him. And that’s why I kept insisting you laid off the female but you insisted that you needed her.”

Virgil nodded in agreement speechless.“I’m sorry about what happened to you. I really wish I could help but I don’t understand how it works in your place. Giving you a good foundation is the best I can offer so you can be able to qualify for the best opportunities here. I hope you can accept it?”“You’re doing more than I ever expected already. Thank you so much, Anna.”“It’s nothing.”“I promise to be loyal to you.” He swore. This touched Anna so much, she paused her meal and turned to gaze at him slowly. She was surprised. No one has ever said such words to her before. She had never had any real friends and was pleased to hear Virgil make such a promise to her. She nodded in agreement and teased him saying, “I’ll hold you to that.”“I mean it.” He continued wearing a sober look. “No one has ever been this nice to me not even in my p
