Laughter from a little girl erupted in the air. This was after she picked up a stuffed bear and hit it on her brother who was playing with a stuffed bear as well. About two minutes later, and Garrett clarified that we can go out of the tunnel. It was good timing because the stuffiness of the place was overwhelming me already. He goes up first by climbing up the ladder that was mounted to the wall. When he had got to the covering, he does something to it and then pushes it open, with the ray of the light flashing right at my face. After that, Garrett looks down at me. “Come,” he says, and all I can do is nod while I get on with climbing after him as he exits the tunnel. I was successful in climbing out before I set my feet on the littered ground of the woods, fresh air flooding my nostrils immediately. Impulsively, I start to move back at the sight of the man that had ordered Garrett to stop what he intended doing. Even before my eyes caught the sight of the man, I had begun to tremble in fear of being seen by someone else from the pack when I should have been lowkey all through. Damn the bastards that attacked.   Garrett already has his head turned around to stare at the approaching man and that was why he could not tell that I have started to walk away from the scene. Apparently, it would be useless if I would try to outrun either Garrett or the approaching man in this situation, knowing how well they could catch up with me in the blink of an eye.   It wasn’t until our eyes collide, and I’m talking about the man, did I stop. It was momentarily, though, as I was right back on the backward steps in no time.   “Where are you going?” Garrett was looking right at me as he finally realized what I was doing.  

Five hours straight, and it almost seemed I have found myself in a classroom. What have I been doing during those periods other than going over the books that could lead to the supposed conspiracy from the big reveal of yesterday? Pretty serious, I know.   The attack on me and Garrett who had led me to his territory should be the biggest highlight of yesterday, but what it made me find out eventually made it less significant.
