Chapter 89
Five hours straight, and it almost seemed I have found myself in a classroom. What have I been doing during those periods other than going over the books that could lead to the supposed conspiracy from the big reveal of yesterday? Pretty serious, I know.
The attack on me and Garrett who had led me to his territory should be the biggest highlight of yesterday, but what it made me find out eventually made it less significant. Although it was sort of a piece in a puzzle, it didn’t weigh a tad bit to the reveal.
Getting fed up already, I peel my eyes off the book I am practically skimming through. The second one in hours. When I look up, I come in sight with Garrett sitting across me with his mind completely on his version of the documentation. If I had at least a bit of his concentration, I probably would have finished with the one I have with me.
