Jake     Three days later, Elena still hadn't woken up. The operation had been successful but she had to be put in a medically induced coma because she had lost a lot of blood and was still in the red zone. if they had brought her in any later, it would have been too late to save her thankfully the bullet didn't hit any vital spot and she had been sagacious enough to put pressure on the wound which helped a lot. Jake hadn't left her side since she was brought into the private room he got for her, he had only left to take bathroom breaks when necessary and had ignored mike's plea for him to go home for a few hours at least instead he had made the guy bring clean shirts for him.  He had been sleeping on a makeshift bed which wasn't comfortable but he didn't complain, he couldn't. he was supposed to be on that bed or worse in the morgue and this was the only way he shed a little bit of his guilt, he was going to watch over her and make sure she was okay.

Ashley          He wheeled me inside the house and towards one of the guest rooms I was familiar with. The room was surprisingly decorated in a feminine style.  The window drapes were in lavender color matching the purple bedspread covering the queen-sized bed. There was another door in the room which would likely be the bathroom. I would check that out later when I have settled in.          I would have thought he had a female relative who had stayed there for a while if I didn't know almost everything about him which means the room had been used by one of his lady friends.  Ashley       She turned off the shower as it had gone cold for a while and took the wet towel from the sink. She gently rubbed down the left side of her body that wasn't in the shower. She finished up and limped back to my room not minding the chill going through her, She needed anything to take her mind off certain things that had kept her awake all night for a while. The shower had helped but she could feel the headache that had dragged her out of bed setting in again.   She looked for the luggage bag she brought in yesterday as she hadn't unpacked but couldn't find it so she decided to look inside the closet.    Ashley opened the closet and was shocked at what she found inside. It was filled to the brim with clothes that she didn't recognize as hers and she couldn't find the bag anywhere.       She took in a sharp breath and checked the clothes in

Ashley       She had been avoiding Jake for a week and succeeded but not without sacrifices. She hadn't been able to ask him to take her back to her apartment so she could get some things she needed and sometimes she even went without food because she was scared he would show up while she was eating.   During those times she always found food in her room whenever she wasn't there and she suspected Jake had left it there, so she had taken the opportunity to be scarce from her room when she was hungry.  She had always stayed cooped up in her room whenever he was around and wandered the house when he left, using the opportunity to search his room and study for clues of his plan. She had asked the master the reason they needed evidence that Jake was after them when it was so clear but he refused to tell her anything so she continued her search. &n
