Chapter Fifty Nine
Chapter Fifty Nine  I got Thomas to take me to my house before I would explain anything to him. He was angry at me. He knew. He knew that I was the person, the student, that Toby was seeing. I had lied to Him about something so important. Though, I wouldn’t say lie... More like... Just didn’t tell. When we got back, My parents were already waiting for me in the front room. ‘Hey, Mum, remember that conversation well-’ ‘Hello Violet’. I stopped dead in the doorway when I saw two officers sitting with my parents. One was in uniform, one wasn’t. ‘Um... Hi? Who are you?’ I asked, confused.

Chapter Sixty
Chapter Sixty I had to stay at the station for hours and answer all sorts of questions, but the big one, The main one… Had I ever had a sexual relationship with Toby Wolfe, and of course, I lied. I told them everything else, including that we were friends because of how we met, and that if they wanted to verify that with the other police department who dealt with my sexual assault, they could. I told them that my parents were well aware of the friendship I had with Toby and that it was innocent. Again, they said they were going to confirm that with my parents directly. I j# I really hope they had the common sense to lie and say that it wasn’t anything...  Inappropriate. They showed me pictures of me and Toby, most were explained away b

Chapter Sixty One
Chapter Sixty One I didn’t go home. I couldn’t go to Toby’s, i sure as hell wasn’t going back to school I didn’t know what to do. I turned my phone off and just.. Wandered around. I kept walking... And walking... And walking until the bright blue sky turned dark and it got cold. I started feeling a bit unsafe so started looking around for somewhere to go. Only a few blocks further, I saw a motel. I had my bank card on me so headed toward it. Maybe a night alone will help me feel better. Luckily, there were some vacancies, so I checked in and headed to my room. It was your typical, standard, cheap motel room. But it had a bed that looked... Semi comfortable, so I didn’t care.

Chapter Sixty Two
Chapter Sixty Two‘Wha... H-how?!’ He just smiled and opened his arms and I bolted across the room and jumped into them, wrapping mine tight around him. ‘What happened? How are you out? Have they dropped the charges?!’ He pulled away from the hug and rested his forehead against mine. ‘Vi.. we need to talk’. I could already tell by the tone of his voice that this wasn’t going to be a good conversation. Oh god, what now…? We sat on the edge of my bed and he took my hands in his. ‘What’s going on?’ He let out a long sigh and looked at me. ‘Toby.. you’re worrying me, what's happened? What's wrong?’ ‘I love you, I rea

Chapter Sixty Three
Chapter Sixty Three Some random noise cut through my peaceful slumber and I opened my eyes and looked over at Toby, only to see the bed was empty. I grabbed my phone off the side and saw it was only just past 5 am. Where was he? Hearing more noise, I sat up and listened carefully. It sounded like pots and pans clanging together. ‘What the…’ Throwing the covers off myself, I grabbed one of Toby’s shirts off the floor and headed out of the room and down to the kitchen. Sure enough, there he was, topless, standing in the middle of the room, packing things into boxes. ‘Hey?’ He looked up and smiled sadly at me. ‘Have you slept at all?’ He shook his head. ‘No, once you dropped off, I though

Chapter Sixty Four
Chapter Sixty Four No matter how we tried to prolong the inevitable, it just wasn’t good enough and soon enough it was time for me to say goodbye to Toby. I wasn’t ready for it. I didn’t know what the future held for us. I wanted to be with him, but how would it work with him there and me here? We hadn’t even had time to discuss it really. I suppose that will be something we will have to talk about over the phone. He had put as much as he could in his car. He was driving back ‘’home’’ so that he could take his car and then will be sending someone for the rest of his stuff at a later date. Apparently, the lease on the house here was still valid until the end of the school year, which was a while yet. Putting the last few bits he was taking with him in

Chapter Sixty Five
Chapter Sixty Five*** A Few Months Later *** I rolled over and opened my eyes, I checked the clock. School starts in 20 minutes, but meh, I didn’t care. Being late another day, maybe they will give me the boot. I wanted to drop out, or at the very least change schools, but dad wouldn’t let me. In his words, I'd made my bed, I needed to lie in it and if that meant having the whole school talk about me behind my back then so be it. No one ever said anything to my face, but I heard the whispers. When I walked down the hallways and sometimes when I was in the bathroom, and people didn’t realize I was there, I heard the bitching. I completely distanced myself from everything and everyone, my friends included. Yeah, I still sat with

Chapter Sixty Six
Chapter Sixty SixThe day dragged on and on and even when school was over, it still didn’t end. The phone call from the doctors was to remind me of an appointment I had, that admittedly, I had forgotten about, and then I still needed to go home and get clothes too. The Business just never seems to end these days. There's always an appointment or a job or something that needs doing. I was just trying to get through and make it till graduation. If I wasn’t allowed to drop out and the school was clearly not going to kick me out, I had to graduate… and then I could leave. I could go and find Toby… …I wasn’t stupid, I know there is a good chance he was not going to be waiting for me. By the time I’m actually able to go, We would have been apart for a very long time

Chapter Sixty Seven
Chapter Sixty Seven Walking into the house, I called out to see if mum and dad were home yet. Mum called back that she was in the kitchen, and I headed over. I asked where dad was and she said he was still at work. Good, it meant I could share the good news with her. ‘I thought you were staying at the other house tonight?’ I smiled and put the shopping bag down on the side. ‘I am, but I forgot to pack some clothes that actually fit’. She chuckled. ‘I have something to show you!’. I told her, unable to hide my excitement. She stopped what she was doing and turned to look at me, waiting. I opened the bag and pulled out the little blue sailing boat onesie and she gasped, covering her mouth.

Chapter Sixty Eight
Chapter Sixty Eight *** A Few More Months Later ** Graduation was fast approaching, it's all you could hear about in school, but luckily I wasn’t there much of the week anymore. My due date was moved up to before graduation now and being so heavily pregnant, I wasn’t really required to attend, as long as I collected school work to complete at home, but I rarely did that anyway. If people weren’t talking about me already, they surely were now, and I couldn’t give a fuck. Apart from the obvious things, I was pretty happy with my life, for the most part, and while people were picking what colleges they were going to and what they planned to do after High School, I knew what I was going to do… I was going to be a mother.
