She waited for him to say something to her as soon as he entered the caravan but he looked at her in a manner that suggested that he didn't know what to say either. She felt discouraged by his silence but her answer didn't change when she asked herself what she would do. It was the second fastest decision that she had ever made in all her life and like the first one, which was leaving her pack and everything she knew behind, she didn't give it too much thought. It had to do with seeing him almost dying in her arms. At that moment, she realized that if he died, she would be bereft. She would never forgive herself for not giving them a chance.
