NOAH’S POVToday is the day I dread most in the entire 365 days of the year and each time it comes, it becomes worse to bear as I remember everything that happened and how long people have had to survive with this punishment. One would think that considering how long I’ve lived, this feeling of guilt would get better as each year passes by, but that’s not the case, as it gets a whole lot worse, because I am reminded of all the things I’ve lost and all I’ve made others lose.I was furious, underneath that anger, I was scared and I took it too far, I lost control and everything went haywire. Now look at what I have- happiness, and as much as I try to deny it every day, I feel it blooming in my heart, and every day, as a result of this happiness, I become even more miserable. But today, today just happens to be the day when I have a rush of reasons crowding my mind and reminding me of why I cannot be happy when I made others suffer, reminding me of how incapable I am of being a lead

THIRD PERSON POV Running through the dusty desert is an easy feat, nothing that can prove to be a form of resistance, even the wind seems to flow in a rhythm with a relatable aura, deadly and lethal. The void in the vast land projects the comfort of isolation, a very familiar feeling, one that clings like the sand to his shoes. Lien has his mind set on reaching his goal, even with his limited span of time to stay on the earth. The Egyptians had proven to have excellent foresight when they made the desert anti-magic, ensuring that any being who set foot in the desert and tried to claim their treasure would go through agonizing torment first. before they were killed and made to rot in the deserted land and their carcass, used as a sufficient replenishment of its ancient magic. But in every situation, there is always a loophole, and Lien knows this. He knows these risks and holds on to his determination to arrive at his destination and retrieve his target, as he races through the h

REINA'S POVWho would have thought that I would be partnered up with a literal Greek god?“ Okay then Hot dawg, let’s get to work,” I say to him and see his eyes narrow at the nickname I just used on him.Like I care if he doesn’t like it, it’s his fault for being smoking hot, making it extremely difficult to dislike him for showing up out of nowhere and interfering with my workflow.“ We’ll be leaving now?”“ Of course, time is of the essence,” I say with a goofy smile with a finger raised up and once again I’m captivated by his looks as he licks his lips ever so lightly. His unique golden eyes look at me crossly seeing that my eyes followed the movement of his tongue running over his lips attentively. His chiseled structured face brings on a frown as he looks at me weirded out and I almost laugh in his face, amused that my sense of attraction towards him seems to annoy him. He sure would attract a lot of attention with his godly looks and it would be a priceless sight to se

LIAM’S POVWho would have thought that journalism would be this strenuous, we’ve been walking around one street for about an hour and yet we haven’t gotten any tangible interview. Not to mention that it was the exact same thing when we came here two days ago.I regret why I suggested this in the first place when we would have easily gone to the authorities for the answers to these very direct questions that people seem to have a problem with.Everyone we approach says the same thing, either they don’t want to speak or they don’t have any opinion. Most just shy away from the camera, while some ignorant ones throw insults at us, saying we’ve come to disrupt their peace. It doesn’t help that the heat of the sun is merciless and we haven’t taken a break since we started, all thanks to my hardheaded partner.I groan when she turns to the next alley, walking in front of me speedily with hawk eyes, looking for who to interview next.I’ve watched her for the past hour and even while I

THIRD PERSON’S POV“He found the Crisient,” the witch Hecate says, with a look of pure evil in her eyes and a enthralled smile on her face.“Yes witch, he instructed that we come to finalize the plans,” the three souls, messengers of the king of the underworld inform her. They stay seated with dark cloaks covering them whole, watching her with rapt attention.“I will begin the final plan immediately, but remind him that this path he’s treading on will not be an easy one. Getting the Crisient was the easiest part of this act of war,” she says, maintaining the smile on her face.“How can he activate the Crisient?” one of the three souls asks, with an intense look on his face, though his appearance becomes more transparent by the second. They had been here for a long time, they had to wait because Hecate put a magical field around the room, sealing herself inside as she performed a ritual that took about thirty minutes. They had no choice but to patiently stand outside as their t
