Leah moaned as Nikaulas devoured her mouth. Her hands were clasping his shoulder while his arms were wrapped around her waist. They were in his study right now, enjoying the moments they had stolen. Leah had come straight to his study when she learned he was alone in there. Angela was in the garden with Theo and Nichelle. " Divorce her and I'll divorce Theo. Let's get married," Leah breathed while peppering kisses down his throat. She gasped when she felt a hard tug on her hair. He forced her face up to meet his gaze. "Divorce her huh?" he sneered down at her. Leah stared at him, scared by the shift in his demeanour. He dragged her towards the window that overlooked the garden. He observed as his gaze searched and then rested on someone. "Do you see that woman?" he clasped his hands behind his back and jutted his chin out. Leah followed his line of gaze and saw Angela. She was laughing at something Theo had said. Her brows contracted in confusion. "She was attacked six ti

Angela woke up with a start. Her hazy mind couldn't remember what woke her up until another scream pierced through the air, sending her up. The wailing scream rife with pain and anger. She tossed the duvet away and swung her legs down only to let out a hiss when her feet punched the cold floor with more force than she had intended. She bit down on her lip and grabbed the nightstand to help herself up. The noise was coming from upstairs. She could hear things being tossed violently. Angela hastily sat down on her wheelchair and steer it outside. She glanced up at the heaps of stairs. Too anxious to be intimidated by it. The woman held the railing and began dragging herself up, ignoring the pain. The noise growing louder as she moved up. The door to Nichelle's room was wide open. Her stomach churned with anxiety and she hurreidly made her way towards her room. "Tell me...tell me," she heard Nichelle screaming and crying in between loud thuddings. Angela entered the room and felt her

Angela watched him as he marched out the door. She couldn't see his face but his body language indicated that he was in a foul mood. What got him so upset, she wondered. A part of her was disappointed that he didn't stay to taste her cakes but other part understood. There was a high chance of situation going bad if he stayed here. Nikaulas was like a ticking bomb when angry. The kids wanted chocolate syrup for their ice-cream. Hailey didn't have it in her home so Angela suggested to get it from hers. Leah offered to help and bring it from her house. Angela agreed, seeing no harm in it. Leah left to get the syrup.  Time flew and when Leah didn't come back, Angela decided to check. She excused herself and wheeled out of Hailey's cottage. Darkness had gathered the whole sky under its embrace. The moon had monopolised the heaven. She turned and made her way towards her cottage which had its light on. As she neared, she noticed that the main door was wide open. She d

Leah did the final spin and then curtsied gracefully with a smile on her face. Nikaulas watched her with an impressed look."How was it?" Leah asked as she made her way towards him. Nikaulas raked her frame. She was donning her ballet dress. "Still the best," Nikaulas remarked as she settled on his lap. Leah locked her arms around his neck and pecked his lip. " Am I still your favorite ballerina?" she searched his eyes for the truth. "You've always been," Nikaulas combed his fingers through her pony tail. She was doing ballet on the stage when he had seen her for the first time. The way her lean body had flexed and bent had left him in awe. The attraction was instant from both the sides. But the incidents that followed next consolidated their feelings. "Coffee?" Leah asked. Nikaulas nodded in answer. Leah got up and went into the kitchen to make them coffee. Meanwhile, Nikaulas grabbed his phone and looked at the time. It was 7 PM already and they still had not returned.

Leah gasped in surprise when Nikaulas gave her the ring he had brought for her from Brazil. The ring had a shiny blue diamond encrusted on it. "Woww....Is it for me?" Leah asked as she snatched the ring from him, eyeing the ring with wonder. "Of course," Nikaulas answered, smiling. Leah slid the ring onto her middle finger and held it up for him to see, "How it looks?" "Beautiful," Nikaulas replied. Leah gave him a full-blown smile and threw her arms around him. "Thank you..I loved it," Leah gushed out while pulling him closer. Nikaulas wrapped his arms around her in response. Leah craned her neck and placed her lips on his. Nikaulas reciprocated. Bound and determined that he will not let a mere infatuation ruin his chance. Angela is a just a distraction whereas this woman in his arms is his endgame. He and Leah had spent their dark days together. She was there for him when he was at his lowest. Five years. The life has finally granted them a chance to get back together and h
