Chapter 1

"We will now read out the crimes of Kyra de Leta. Attempted murder of the saintess candidate, use of witchcraft to seduce the crowned Prince and plotting treason against the royal family with the entire De Leta family. She shall be beheaded by the Kingdom's Swordsmaster, Duke Kion". How did it come to this? I didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted all that was rightfully mine. But why? why must you betray me like this Kion? I treated you like family but yet you betrayed me. Down on her knees, Kion approached and whispered something into her ears before stepping back and unsheating his sword. With rage burning deep in her eyes and heart she muttered at him "I will get my revenge you illegitimate bastard scum-"Fwoosh. With a downwards strike of his blade, her head came clean off and she plunged into darkness. With a solemn prayer in her heart, she wished and prayed that if there is any God or sovereign being out there somewhere, who knows she has been treated unfairly. She pleaded for

Chapter 2

It's been about 2 weeks since the incident and Kion has been behaving strangely. At first I thought he would submit to me completely but he has been behaving adamant and suspicious of me. Well, I can't really say I blame him since the Duke's only beloved daughter took him in like some kind of pet. Much to Kyra's displeasure it took longer than expected to make Kion trust her fully. She had to play the role of a little girl being head over heels for him to perfection. But it wasn't going smoothly at first because he was suspicious of her intentions. But after a lot of effort he had finally succumbed to her and she hoped he would remain convinced that she had indeed fallen deeply in love with him. Today was a day like every other. Kyra woke up and was attended to by her maids as usual. At breakfast with her family, everyone seemed oddly quiet. She could understand why her strict father wasn't speaking but her brother, Franc and her mother were too quiet. She did all she could to liven

Chapter 3

The weeks flew by in the blink of an eye. The preparations for Kyra's birthday kept everyone busy. There were dresses to be fitted for, etiquette classes to be attended and invitations to be sent. The Duchess really outdid herself in organising everything perfectly for that day. Everyone was looking forward to the little misses 10th birthday party. Nobles from all over the capital were invited. Even the royal family received an invitation so a lot of people would come even if it would be to catch a glimpse of the Prince's and Princess of the kingdom. She got ready and in no time guests started to arrive at the manor. There was live music and the hall was decorated to perfection. Immediately she stepped out of her room, she could see Kion a ways off, down the hall waiting for her. She stopped dead in her tracks as she got closer to him, as she couldn't help but stare at that handsome face. He really was handsome. No wonder she fell for him in her last life. "Is the outfit not to your l

Chapter 4

It was hardwork, but her efforts were finally paying off. The maids and other workers in the manor were starting to open up to her little by little. It had been a few months and the rumors going round about the Tyrant Kyra, have been dialed down. She didn't blame them though, even she would have had a hard time believing that someone who was known to throw tantrums and bully maids just for fun would turn over a new leaf in such a short time. The best part was that with her new relationship with everyone, she could start gathering those who would be her people and know those who would support Kion later. The most trust worthy person was the maid who was with her when she first came back. Betty; she had completely stopped her trembling now and even treated Kyra so lovingly, almost like a little sister. And after she was made to be Kyra's personal maid, she was able to hear about a lot of rumors and get information from her. Yet, she wasn't satisfied, she needed a network outside of the

Chapter 5

Three years had gone by.Kyra was a year away from enrolling at the academy just like her brother, when she remembered something important. The reason her brother wasn't able to succeed as the head of the family in her past life. It was when he had gone to the academy for his second year, and an incident occurred, causing him to be disabled, and the Duke would rather die than have a disabled person become head of the household. No matter how talented the person is or even if that person were to be his own son. Saving her brother and making sure he becomes head of the house would be another means of getting revenge against Kion.Kyra had built a closer relationship with her brother in this life but she wasn't sure if it was close enough that he would believe her and take her word for it if she was to warn him before hand. So, to build their trust, she predicted little things for him. Like telling him what attire she feels the Duchess would wear on a certain day, or what meal she feels w

Chapter 6

It had been two weeks, and a letter arrived for Kyra at the estate. There was no sender except for the initial 'E' written on it, but she knew exactly who it was from. She opened it and read it. As expected of the guild master, he already knew her request and had supplied her with the information she needed or rather, wanted to hear. He had also enclosed an invite for a later date, for them to meet and talk about the terms of their contract. All was going as planned, when suddenly she was summoned by her father.Standing in his office, he hadn't said anything. It had been well over 5 minutes since she had come in and he hadn't said a word as he scribbled away. The office was filled with nothing but the scritch-scratch sound his pen made on the papers and the sound of both of their shallow breaths. He had even told his secretary to excuse them when she first came in so this silence was really unnerving and even becoming slightly annoying. He finally cleared his thro

Chapter 7

It didn't take long for them to get her a magic tutor. And even though it was her second time at it, she was still not that good at using magic. For a descendant of the well known De Leta house of Mages, to not be good at magic. It was quite a big ordeal. It was one of the reasons she felt so inferior in her past life and ended up taking out her anger on anyone and everyone especially the saintess candidate . She found out that she was only adept at the theoretical aspects of magic. It was truly a shame since she had the De Leta blood flowing in her veins. Even when she enrolled at the academy, she was falling behind everyone else and she took out her frustration on those around her which caused her to be hated by her peers and added to the bad rap she got as a villainess. That reminded her again that there was someone she wasn't looking forward to seeing at the academy. There was going to be a girl by the name of Fiona who would also enrol at the academy under the Holy Church. She wa

Chapter 8

All the main characters had made it into the academy. The children of the 3 main ducal families, Kion who is to be known as the best swordsmaster and Fiona, the saintess candidate. Unlike her last life, she did her best to avoid Fiona, especially when she was around Kion. As though it was directed by fate, or maybe because they were both commoners who got admitted because of their talents, Fiona and Kion got along very well. The 2nd Prince even started hanging around Kion more openly which made her wonder when the two became so close. From the information the Lotus guild had been providing her, before their enrolment, Kion and the 2nd Prince had met only 2 times outside of her 10th birthday , both meetings not holding much meaning to them. Talking about weird events, it seemed odd that the 1st Prince who was a year older, and whom was supposed to be in the academy a year before she, was actually in her year. She heard rumors that he had refused to enrol the year before, gi

Chapter 9

She couldn't help but smile as she read the notice. The Sparrow Club for nobles was hosting one of its meetings later that week, and new members were being encouraged to attend. It would simply look as though they were inviting new members, but reading the notice further, anyone with half a brain would be able to tell that they were talking to only nobles, and only nobles whose family's had high enough positions in high society. She had been keeping an eye out for this opportunity. There were a few people she needed to meet and establish good relations with them to further aid her revenge. People whose very existence would hold a lot of authority and power by the time they graduate from the academy."I hope you don't think they will let you join," the 2nd Prince said with a smug look on his face. "Hahaha! Is that really what you're thinking with that dumb look on your face?""Don't talk to her like that Theo", Carcel said."Oh please, brother. Look at her, the Tyran

Chapter 10

"I don't know what you did-" he sighed "-but welcome to the club Miss Kyra. Here is your club badge, we hold club meetings on the stipulated club days as seen in the booklet in front of you and anything else you would like to know is contained in it as well. Happy to have you." It was so fake that she almost gagged out loud infront of him. Maybe he was an executive member of the club or simply a senior who didn't like her, but she grabbed her items and left through a door behind him, in the opposite direction of where she had come in from. She was relieved since she would not have to come into contact with "him" again. She hurried off on her way and was happy that she had made it into the club. Maybe her brother had done something, but they were not as biased towards her as she thought they would be, especially considering her lack of talent in magic, well- at least in the practical sense of it. "You seem to zone out very easily and quickly. I guess you still have not learnt your les
