Once they were alone, Theresa had a chance to scrutinize her supposed mate. His features were strong and his somewhat chiselled face was handsome. His eyes were beautiful and distinct and he had a fierce aura despite his quiet demeanour. She couldn't let her eyes wander to the rest of his body because she sure didn't know how to look at a man apart from his face anyway. That evening, Astrophel and Theresa walked side by side through the village. After being in bed for hours to regain her strength, Theresa had requested that she should be allowed to clear things from her mind by taking a stroll because she was feeling cooped up from being indoors for too long, and Astrophel, despite his mother's disapproval had offered to accompany her. It was as if he was afraid to leave her all by herself and he just wanted to keep spending time with her every chance he got, despite knowing that his parents disapproved of his silent intentions towards Theresa.
