(Aiden’s POV)“I have a heart problem,” the man coming out of nowhere muttered, smiling at Jessamine.I was too focused on the sexy doctor beside me that I didn’t notice where he came from. A patient? (Aiden’s POV)Jessamine chatted animatedly with the male staff pushing the wheelchair for Mr. Douglas toward the car. I sneered, annoyed to see my best friend and Mr. Douglas laughing. (Jessamine’s POV)It was past midnight already, but Aiden was not home yet. I sighed worriedly and glanced at the time on my cell phone. Where on earth did he go? He wasn’t my responsibility. (Jessamine’s POV)“We talked this morning, and I explained everything to him,” Aiden answered, reaching for my hands.My heart stopped beating as he squeezed my hands gently.
