Rejected Their Broken Luna의 모든 챕터: 챕터 141 - 챕터 150

Cynthia Dion: I shook my head disapprovingly and shot a fierce glare at Gary, who was now administering what appeared to be wolfbane into a syringe."No way! I won't be anyone's pawn," I exclaimed vehemently, causing them to exchange glances and nod their heads in disapproval, as if I had committed an offense by raising my voice. As I started to make a move, the elderly man interjected, "Get rid of her; her presence is repulsive," pointing disdainfully at the Gamma, who advanced towards me to quell my protests.Despite the unbreakable nature of the silver chains, I gave it my all. Panic swept over the crowd, with everyone shouting and scrambling to the ground to avoid the menacing shackles as I struggled to manipulate them."Arghhhh!" When the chains proved ineffective, and the Gamma wrestled them to gain control over me, I found myself with only one recourse: transition. With a resounding howl, I exerted every ounce of my willpower, determined to undergo the transformation. The silv

Cynthia Dion: I had been in tears while watching him haul her lifeless body to the cage following his earlier extraction of the girl's remains. He proceeded to administer a dose of wolfbane, leaving her bound in chains."She's not your captive; you can't employ her for your sordid and depraved act---" I hesitated, restraining my words to avoid angering him further and causing more trouble for her than she was already in."Aren't you even slightly concerned about why she was here?" he inquired, struggling to conceal the deceased girl's body within a black garbage bag."It doesn't matter; you don't own her. Have you considered that the werewolf authorities will start searching for a missing she-wolf? Not to mention, she's the Alpha King's closest friend; he'll initiate a search for her before long," I responded in a calm tone, maintaining my promise not to provoke him and inadvertently harm her.“A little sex with a vampire won’t hurt her. Besides, I will record her well, she will not

Cynthia Dion: "You came here for him?" I realized she had no real concern for me; she had taken all these risks solely for him."I can't bear to see him this broken, Cynthia. He shouldn't be in love with you. You shouldn't have shattered his heart and trust. Don't you ever feel like you missed out on a good chance with him? What is it about Mr. Holt that made you turn into such a... mess for him?" Despite her accusations, she didn't come across as cocky or arrogant. Her genuine distress was evident as she tried to comprehend why I had chosen Mr. Holt over Atticus."I don't know what to say to you. Even if I deny all of it, you won't believe me," I sighed, avoiding her gaze. "I never liked Mr. Holt," I admitted, my eyes drifting away from her face."Then why did you marry him? Were you trying to punish someone, or what?" She asked, her curiosity getting the better of her."Nope! I was trying to save my sister and myself from being sold to someone because Atticus abducted me for a few

Cynthia Dion: "Rosalie!" I called out for her, attempting to rouse her with a gentle face slap. "Ugh!" I grumbled, scanning the area until my gaze settled on the keys he had tossed aside while preparing for a heated rendezvous.I tugged at my chain with all my might, but I still fell a foot short of grasping the keys. Regardless of my efforts to stretch my body, I remained unable to reach them."Alright! I need to think this through," I remarked, glancing at the clock. If I remember correctly, his men would be bringing him dinner in about an hour. That meant I had just one hour to orchestrate our escape. Since Rosalie remained unresponsive, it fell on me to devise a plan. With careful consideration, I realized the task wasn't impossible. The bedroom was filled with furniture and assorted items, offering potential solutions if I used my wits. If I couldn't reach for the keys, something else could. My eyes settled on a lamp, a swing-arm lamp, the perfect tool for the job. I seized it,

Cynthia Dion: "What are you doing here?" I furrowed my brow to question his unexpected arrival. His body language remained composed, and his expressions didn't reveal his true intentions. He had come over to put me in an embarrassing situation."I came to talk to you about what went down two days ago," with his words, I realized I'd been in a coma for two days."What's on your mind?" I didn't even take a seat when he offered me one. I didn't feel comfortable sitting down with any of them anymore."I wanted to say sorry for jumping to conclusions about you hurting her," he said, moving a couple of steps closer to the couch I was standing behind. "Thanks for what you did for Rosalie. Cynthia, I don't think anyone else could've pulled it off," he said, his eyes welling up with tears."I just can't fathom how? I mean, with your...," he struggled to find the right words, so I stepped in to assist."Wickedness?" I grinned, biting my lip to steady them from trembling."Considering all the t
