“So, why are you back in my house when you should be with Eshe?” I eyed Josh over as I handed him a plate of sausage, fried eggs, sandwich and steak: medium rare alongside a cup of plain coffee.“Did you just say 'my'?"I rolled my eyes. “I've living alone in the house for almost six months, so I should just begin calling it my house."He snorted loudly and grabbed his cup of steaming coffee.“Don't be scared, I'm did not come to take over the house sweetheart, I have something to talk to you about. But first, why was Zayn coming out of the house yesterday?"I shifted quite uncomfortably on my seat not liking the immediate change of the atmosphere in the room. “Is it something so serious?" I asked ignoring the part concerning Zayn.He nodded his head as he scraped the last morsel of egg on the plate.“Otherwise I wouldn't be here. I had wanted us talking about it yesterday night, but seeing how tired and pale your face looked I decided to just tell you about it today. Also, you're yet

I sat down outside patiently waiting for Kacie to return back home from work. It's been two hours past the time her shifts normally end. I'm beginning to lose my patience, I really need to see her face. To hold her hand. The sound of a car driving in pulled my head up and made me stop fidgeting with my fingers. My eyes lowered down to the hands of Greg wrapped around her tiny waist and heaven knows I want to rip his flesh out of his damn bone. They both couldn't see me where I was sitting on her stairs giving Greg dangerous glares. To crown it all he kissed her on her forehead before going into his car. Hell she was even smiling and waving at him.I sat still and waited for her to come meet me and the shock on her face seeing me sitting there with my arms folded is priceless. “What are you doing here?" She asked quietly.“What does it look like pumpkin? I'm here to see you of course."She scoffed and brushed past me going to open her door. “Are you coming in or not?"“You don't need

“This restaurant looks very fancy and beautiful but...Why is it empty?” her eyes were all over scanning the empty tables around us.I acted like I was surprised too because if she knows I booked the entire restaurant for our date, she's likely to kick a fuss.“You didn't book the entire restaurant right?" Her eyes were fixed on me.“I didn't. You don't really like lemons, why are you having lemon bar for dessert?" I asked before popping an apple pie into my mouth.I had waited until my mother healed up completely before I picked a date for our date. Much to my relief she and my mother relationship are back to normal which only means one thing. I'm one step to winning my woman back.“You really know a lot about me don't you?" She was smiling.I shrugged.“You were my fiancèe for a year it would be a shame if I don't know a thing about you."She smiled again then focused her attention and continued eating on her dessert.“I want to try new things.”I nodded my head.“Might I venture to ask

“Kacie darling, it's so nice to see you." Miriam pushed past me and engulfed Kacie in a hug.“The house hasn't been quite itself since you left." I groaned at her tone. She's been fussing the entire month, right after I kicked out the fake Alessandra to bring back Kacie and build a perfect family. She wouldn't let me have a breath comfortably without bringing up Kacie.“I'm sorry ma. I didn't mean to leave in such a manner." Kacie apologize and kissed her right cheek.“It's fine, as long as you're back now. We have a lot of catching up to do." I almost coughed. How will she react if I told her Kacie is yet to accept me back. I don't want to imagine it at all.“Are you hungry?" Miriam added leading her inside the house. I shook my head and followed them inside. It would have been perfect only if she had accepted me already, then I would be rest assured and focused on dealing with my uncle.“Where's Rafiq?” I asked coming back into the living after searching upstairs without seeing him

“Do you think you can make it to my house tonight for dinner? My father is coming over so I thought it'd be nice to invite you guys.” I asked Eshe over the phone.“Sure. Of course." She answered giggling slightly.“I would love to."“Alright. See you soon." I said then hung up.Since my father said he was coming over for dinner today two weeks after we met. I'm so eager and anxious to see him again because he travelled out for business and he wasn't around. So we couldn't see each other and catch up on the time we lost although we talked twice on phone.I rushed to ask Josh who always looked like he knows much about my father to ask him what kind of dishes my father fancies.I wasn't so surprised when he told me Italian and Chinese food. I really have many things in common with my father, Now the problem is what should I prepare?Debating for more than an hour before I finally settled down to go for bruschetta, chicken parmesan and chicken pao.I glanced at my phone, few minutes past s
