Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 101 - チャプター 110

“Ilayda,” Dre’s voice broke me from my thoughts. I look up at him and tilt my head. “I will find him or some other money hungry hunter who can make this work.”I nod and tilt my eyes back down to my book. Continuing the facade that I was resigned to my fate. The door opens and Piper walks in, her red hair bouncing as she saunters in. “Alpha,” she purrs, bearing her neck in submission to him before walking around the desk and placing herself in his lap. I found out quickly that she was his rejected mate that he kept around for the pleasure of it. She didn’t seem to mind the arrangement as she got to live a life of pleasure and wanted for nothing as long as she kept his bed warm. She came around often when I was around, throwing me dirty looking as she wrapped her limbs around him. The kind greeting I got from her in the beginning was long gone as she became more aware of my future position in the pack. A part of her feels envious, I'm sure that she wasn’t enough to be his Luna as a wol

I woke up early the next morning, determined to start putting my plan into action. After breakfast I make my way downstairs I look around for the kitchen. I’ve only been there once before to get bread when I was hungry but I seemed to have lost my way as I was lost in my thoughts. Scanning my surroundings I find myself in an unfamiliar section of the house. Stopping an omega in the hallway I feel her tense at my presence. “How can I help you Luna?”, she bows her head and stutters at me. I smile brightly at her and I feel her relax slightly. “I’m just trying to find the kitchen,” I wrinkle my brows at her, “I usually know where it is but I seem to have found myself lost. I just want to go there so I can make myself a snack.” She nods at motioning for me to follow her. After a few turns we make it inside the industrial sized kitchen. “Thank you so much, I would never be able to get there on my own, you have been an amazing help,” I smile at her. She bows her head at me, “You are ever

Carefully I climb across the branches, moving slowly from tree to tree so as to not make any noise. Iris was still gone, leading the wolves on a wild goose hunt in the opposite direction, doing her best to buy me more time. Time was against me and I could use as much of it as possible. I could feel my heart in my throat with each passing minute, pulsing heavily. Only when I was so far into the woods that I couldn’t see the pack house behind me did I let myself stop for a rest. I’d been going non stop for hours and my limbs were shaking from all the exertion. Resting myself with my back to the bark, I tucked myself into the tree. Doing my best to balance myself so as to not fall. ‘Ila, I led the wolves away as best as I could. I’m not as strong due to being kept locked up by those chains but I think it was enough.’ Iris’s melodic voice rings out around me. ‘Iris I’m so happy to have you back,’ I swallow the sob that threatens to build up in my throat. I assumed she was still free, ro

We’ve been camping out on the borders of Dre’s pack for a few days. Getting a better idea of the layout of the pack lands. I had scouts viewing what we could and making maps out of the intel. I needed every square inch of his lands recorded for when it was time to attack. Gabriel had been more than helpful in giving us the entire layout of the pack house. I nearly laughed out loud at how pathetic it sounded. As much as I couldn’t stand the slimy hunter, he was doing his best to make amends. I don’t think I will ever forgive him for taking my girl away from me, but I give him credit for working his ass off right now. His life may not be spared at the end of all this but I would leave that up to my Luna. He helped her, when as a hunter he had an obligation to do so. I wasn’t naive to the fact that he could easily turn on us like he did to Dre. But there was something in his eyes, something that made me want to believe in him. Regardless of that, I had eyes on him at all times. The shad

I watch as Goerge takes off, running as fast as his wolf form could take him. His wolf form truly wasn’t that impressive. You would think he would look more powerful with all the talking he did of himself. How highly he spoke. A medium size scrawny looking thing and it gave me that feeling that most of the members of Dre’s pack were of similar power levels. Except for the ranked members. Dre didn’t like anyone shifting, and it was starting to make sense why. My eyes land on his three dead pack members in front of me. Blood was pooling below them, leaking out of the wounds that Scar’s shadows inflicted on them. You would think I would feel just a little sorry for the fate that befel them but I felt nothing but satisfaction. No sadness or happiness, they got what they deserved. I try not to shudder at the thought of what they wanted to do to me. After they made that comment any sort of compassion I once had vanished and they needed to die. For my own safety and for those of the innocent
