Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 91 - チャプター 100

I’m dancing with my little sister, a wide grin plastered on her face as I grab her hands and twirl her around the room. I let my normally hard exterior thaw slightly as a smile ghosts my face. All of a sudden I cry out and grab my head as a searing pain shoots through it and I feel a snap in my chest. The music comes to a stop and I hear the clatter of dishes crashing to the floor as nearly everyone gasps. I try to level my breathing as I scan the faces of my pack members, a few break out in quiet sobs, and don’t need any more clarity to understand what just happened. There was only one thing that could cause that sort of reaction throughout the entire pack. Their Luna, my mate Ilayda, was gone, forcefully taken from the borders of our home. Fear makes me break out in a cold sweat as Drago comes barreling into the ballroom slamming the doors open. “Alpha!” he shouts, sprinting towards me. Fear and despair flashing in his eyes that I’m sure match my own. He has blood coating the back

The next few days proceeded the same. I spend most of them locked up in this ridiculous room only being taken out for meals or if Dre wants to torment me further with all of his absurd future plans to make me his mate. On occasion Gabriel was allowed to chaperone me in the interior gardens. The only safe place I have is my bathroom, so whenever I can I go there to work on harnessing my powers but I try not to spend too much time there so as to not arouse suspicion. I haven’t been visited by Nikolai since the first night and my heart hurts with what he’s going through. I don’t know him well but I’m sure watching the people you have been tasked with to protect die and the only thing you can do about it is to destroy a sacred bond is taking its toll. I can’t imagine the amount of devastation that would come to our world if he was forced to succeed in that task. Gabriel has slowly been opening up to me. He is tasked with watching me when my other guards are, predisposed. There is somethi

“What is it you brought me out here to talk about Dre?” I say, picking up a rock and throwing it into the river. I feel him tense at the blatant disrespect that I was giving him. It was late, the moon was out and we were deep into the forest surrounding the pack. I had a feeling that he would get suspicious of me soon and try something. He thought he had everything planned out and no longer needed me in the picture now that he had seen the reaper. Little did he know that that wasn’t the case. In my heart I was starting to see that not all of the supernatural beings were bad, but the ice that surrounded it wasn’t completely thawed. Tink was helping me see otherwise. I regret my choice of taking her away, while I still despised most of them. I had chosen to align myself with the exact type of people that caused my parents death. The hardest thing was feeling like I was betraying my parents by feeling any sort of sympathy towards her. I’m a hunter, I kill all the things that are not hum

Blinking my eyes open, I notice I’ve been washed up onto a river bank. It’s night out so I must have drifted and been out for a long while. Shifting I try to pull myself to a seated position, when a searing pain shoots across my back. Biting my lip until I taste blood to not cry out in pain after what feels like forever I’m finally able to drag myself to a seated positon, carefully resting my back against one of the very large trees in the grove. I don’t get long to relax before I hear a slight rustling behind me. So soft that even a pair of unstrained ears wouldn’t be able to detect it. Three sets of four paws start closing in, wolves. I close my eyes and let out a deep sigh. “No use trying to sneak up on me. I already know you are there.”It takes a moment but I hear the cracking of bones popping back into place, meaning at least one of them has shifted back into their human form. “What are you doing here young hunter? You are trespassing on pack territory.” I crack open an eye to

The room remained quiet for some time while everyone got settled. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the man sitting across from me. His pitch black hair was slicked back, two black horns poking out of his head and I could count at least four different weapons on his person and I could only see the top half of him. The scariest thing about him was the presence he commanded. Everything around him screamed danger but what made me the most nervous was the look of eerie calm on his face. My body was screaming at me to run but I remained frozen in my chair. A stunning blonde was whispering in his ear, her ocean blue eyes flickering from me to him. Her face was equally unreadable. I was starting to realize the sheer amount of power this pack possessed and against Dre’s, they couldn’t even compare. “Gabriel yes?” he finally asked after what felt like an eternity.I nodded at him. “You are going to tell me everything that happened to my Luna.”My eyes widened and I swallowed. This was Alpha Azr
