It Was, A Beautiful Breakup のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

ZORIANNA'S POV I hummed dreamily, as I watched_from my slightly elevated position on the high rock in the campus mini garden_ the winter breeze blowing softly over the large trees, their leaves falling down in a slow rhythmic motion. It's winter again. I inhaled softly with eyes closed, as the familiar scent of Christmas the harmattan breeze seem to bring every mid December, greeted my nostrils. I had just finished writing my last exam for the semester and decided to have a quiet time at my regular spot in the university before returning to the hostel and preparing for my trip back home, to spend the winter break. I smiled as a dry leaf fell on my lap. I picked it up and carefully examined it for a while. The sudden ringing of my phone interrupted me. I tossed the leaf away and reached for my backpack beside me. I quickly retrieved my phone and soon rolled my eyes on seeing the caller ID. Carter! The only thorn in my flesh. "Hello, loser," He began as soon as I receive

ZORIANA'S POV I sighed wearily as I let my pen drip some more words into my diary. It's been a week already and my department have finally completed all necessary projects for the semester, finally we could all go home now. My head felt heavy and was buzzing with several thoughts. There's a lot to do, including preparations for the get together Cassy and I have been planning for a while now. They'd be returning today as promised and I have this ominous feeling this December break would be different. I already prepared myself for my trip, I decided to quickly grab lunch at the Crown's Lunch Cafe before going to the park and boarding a vehicle to gwagwalada. Meanwhile, I've been updating my diary during this past week and was just concluding it here after eating, my luggage was right outside at a safe corner under the care of the trustworthy security man. While scribbling some more words in, I reminded myself that I have to hurry up because I still have to go p

ZORIANA'S POV I sat comfortably in the back seat of the private vehicle as we await the next passenger. I decided to get busy with something to get my mind to relax and not to worry about the fact that I have little time to get home and go catch up with my friends. I removed my small bag from my shoulders and placed it on my lap. I noticed for the first time that the zip was halfway opened. Surprised and confused, I quickly opened it completely only to discover the worse; I couldn't find my diary inside.Shit! I can't lose that diary, it contains a lot of private information about myself. Worry and anxiety was clearly written on my face as I scanned around with the tiniest bit of hope. I really can't lose this diary. I thought of going back to the Crown's Lunch Cafe to see if I could find it there but then I remembered I already paid my fare for the journey and it's not refundable. Shit! I bit my lip on remembrance of how I lost it. I had carelessly and hurriedly put t

NARRATIVELiam looked around the area that was once his home. A lot have changed and the memories he had about this place was entirely different from what he was seeing now. He was glad he didn't drive here by himself, if not he'd have probably gotten lost in the area he was birthed. He folded his pink lips as he walked into the hotel he'd be lodging at for a few days before he returns to his grandma's place in Maitama. He wasn't with much stuff; only a black, leather shoulder bag containing his phones, laptop and few necessary items. He plans to visit a mall later to get himself few clothes he'd be needing. Naturally, Liam had never been someone who liked journeying with much properties on him. Minutes later, he was settled in his hotel room and was sitting on his bed staring at the Journal he had picked up from the floor of Crown's Lunch Cafe. Initially, he wanted to leave it at the care of the Crown's Lunch personnel when he found it wasn't Alyssa's property, but on instin

LIAM'S POVI watched the beautiful Zori stared at me in shock and disbelief. I wasn't much bothered by this as I could relate well to how she feels. After leaving Crown's Lunch Cafe two days ago, I decided to travel via commercial vehicle instead of ordering an uber since I wasn't familiar with the area anymore. Few mins after I had arrived at the park and was already settled in the vehicle going to gwagwalada, a beautiful lady arrived and it seems like she already paid her fare earlier. After a brief glance at her, I returned my attention to my phone, I wasn't the type to get chatty with any beautiful lady I come across. I was listening to music via my airpod all through the 35mins journey. It never occurred to me that I had traveled with my first love. I just don't know why I couldn't recognize her. Perhaps because she's more prettier now and no longer the picture I had in my head of her 11 years ago, or because of the time factor or because I never expected the person I was
