Adrian’s POVElysia’s feet pounded against the forest floor as she ran to me, her face was streaked with tears and dirt. The moment she reached me, I pulled her into my arms.She clung to me like her life depended on it and her hands trembled.“I’m here,” I whispered, wrapping my arms tightly around her.
