ELIZABETH’S POV The interior designer and I discussed what I wanted for my room, and she got to work immediately. I was so excited and touched that Aaron had taken into consideration my complaint about the room and immediately sent a designer to correct it. It made my heart flutter, he wasn't so bad anyway, and it made me like him even more. I had to temporarily move to another room while the designer worked on mine, I toyed with the idea of sleeping in Aaron’s room since he wasn't here but I killed the idea real quick. Let's not push boundaries. So I took another room. I stared at his number saved to my phone as “Husband Jerk” and wondered if I could call, or text… to thank him and maybe also check up on him. Was I even allowed to do that? I didn't want to come off desperate or eager for his attention. “If I just send a thank you text, it wouldn't be that bad would it?” I asked out loud to myself. “I mean I should say thank you. Or should I just wait for him to get back?

Aaron called back at night, as promised. My heart leaped for joy as I saw his name on the screen and I picked faster than I blinked. The call was long, warm, and refreshing. I had sent him a video of my room earlier and he replied with; ‘Davina is really good at her job’ I guess that was his way of saying the room looked beautiful. The message had sounded formal as if he were talking to his business partner, but I didn't mind. It was the first time we were texting anyway. The way he had loosened up talking to me over the phone, he would definitely loosen up with texting soon. I asked how his day was, and he answered me.
