Elara's POVMy heart raced, pounding in my chest so loudly as I stared at the man across from me.He was hot, with black hair neatly slicked back. Time hadn't really left a mark on his face, but I could guess he was probably in his thirties, just from the mature way he carried himself. He was gentler than any man I had ever come across, and he had that deep baritone voice that struck a chord deep in my soul. When he smiled just now, it was as if an arrow embedded with hearts had pierced my chest. My heart picked up pace again. I'm not a fan of love at first sight, but never would I have thought I’d be sitting here in the woods, with a stranger older than me, one whom I know nothing about except for his name, and wild enough that I was actually dreaming about a future, with him... He glanced at me, and I stared dazedly at those mesmerizing blue eyes. They were simply hypnotic, drawing me in like magnet. He said something, but I couldn't focus on a single word that left his lips. Not

Kylie's POVWhen I woke up, I was surrounded by nothing but darkness. And the fact that my head was ringing so badly just made it worse. When I try to sit up, I felt dizzy for a split second, then slowly, memories of how I ended up here started coming back.Yes.Those creatures had drunk my blood.According to them, werewolf blood tasted even better than human. Two of them feasted on me like I was some delicacy, and the aftermath? Me fainting from losing way too much blood – and finally waking up here.I reached out to rub my neck, where I was sure their fangs had torn through. I cursed under my breath, wishing them eternal damnation. Then my eyes slowly scanned my surroundings.Right now, I was on a bed whose color I couldn’t even make out. The girls I'd been in the carriage with earlier were also on the bed, and our condition was pretty much the same, since I could vividly remember us sharing the same fate. And now came the most important question. How do I leave this place? Actua

And so, I began.I couldn't hear any movement, at least for now, and so I was quite confident no one was around. I looked to my right, past the building I had escaped from, where the wilderness lay. There was a tall fence around this ghostly mansion we were in, and the first step to my safety was getting out. The fence stood around two metres tall, and before it were towering trees and grasses that reached half its height.Without hesitation, I darted toward it. I ran as fast as I could, and finally, I was in the middle of the green, and right behind me was the fence. I was already panting from the quick run, my heart drumming in my chest as I crouched low, staring ahead while racking my brain for how I could make it out.Voices and footsteps suddenly echoed in front of me.I stiffened. I didn’t dare breathe out. I pressed my palm against my chest, trying to keep my heart in check.Through the intertwined branches which perfectly shaded me from view, I peered, my eyes locking onto

Kylie’s POVI glanced over my shoulder, taking one last look around.I took a deep breath, chanting my mantra. Then I reached for the door. It creaked slightly as I turned the knob, but I stopped myself from flinching. The door inched open, revealing a dimly lit room beyond. It was massive, easily the size of a ballroom, but with a kind of eerie stillness that made it feel even larger than intended, and standing there, I felt so little compared to it. The high ceiling arched like the ribs of some long-dead beast, with thick wooden beams stretching across the top like ancient bones. Shadows danced along the stone walls, broken only by the soft, golden flicker of candlelight. There are dozens of those candles – maybe hundreds – and they're perched on wrought-iron sconces, balanced on towering candelabras, even clustered in glass lanterns on the floor. The flames swayed as if they could sense my presence, but I knew it was from the gentle breeze that had followed me in. They casted long

Third Person POV"Fire! There's fire! Dracula's building is on fire!"No one had any idea of who had yell, but their voice was like a bell, tearing through the stillness of the night, extremely loud and booming, and filled with panic. Vampires who had long since entered the slumber land snapped their eyes open, bolting upright in their beds. All the vampires in Hollow flashed out of their rooms like lightning, eyes fixated on one particular spot—The place that housed their ruler. Smoke billowed from his standalone mansion, thick and suffocating, curling around it like a serpent. The two guards who had earlier attempted to wake him hadn't even returned to their post when the shout reached their ears. They froze in place, rooted to the ground, eyes locked on the burning house. They exchanged glances, panic flickering in their gazes. What’s going on?What’s happening?Hadn’t they just left that place? And yet now, it was in flames.Without another word, they turned and sprinted toward
