Mated To The Brutal Alpha のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

Tessa He takes a deep breath and then closes the distance between us. “I fully understand how you feel at the moment,” he says, his fingers slipping into my hair. “But rather than pointing fingers at me….” He sweeps my hair back and tucks it behind my ear. “We should focus on finding out who exactly stole the letter and their intentions. My gaze falls to his amber eyes as he speaks. His fingers lingers behind my ears longer than it should and the warmth of it triggers me in ways it shouldn't. “H..how?” I force myself to ask. “The intentions are crystal clear.” He begins to caress my ear robe as his gaze falters to my lips. “Do you still trust me?” I swallow and nod quickly. He leans closer and my heart begins to race. I feel his pleasant breath brushing my cheek as he slowly pecks it, my entire body jolting. “Give me three days,” he murmurs. “I’ll get to the root of this.” He turns, already moving toward the door. Panic rises in me before I can even think it through.

Tessa“You will be dying with honor… A privilege most murderous criminals do not share.”My stomach twists. Dying with honour? My lips part, but no sound escapes. I am dumbfounded. I shake my head slowly and begin to leave.“Unbelievable..” I whisper. When I get to the door, I suddenly feel a sharp twist in my stomach. I freeze and my hand flies to my belly as another wave hits it.My breath shudders out of me.“Miss Moonbane..” he calls behind me.I swallow, but I feel nauseous all of a sudden. I press my palm harder to my stomach, trying to steady myself, but the room tilts.“Where…” My voice cracks. “Where is your restroom?” I ask, turning to him.His brows draw together, looking curious and somehow concerned. He lifts a hand and points to a door near the far wall.I don’t even wait for him to speak.I lurch toward it, pushing the door open so hard it bangs against the wall. My knees nearly buckle as I stumble inside. I grip the sink with both hands just as my stomach heaves.A cho

TessaI shift myself a bit to extract myself from him but his hand doesn't slip off, instead, it balances properly on me.I exhale as my eyes drift to his golden hair. I’ve never noticed it this closely before. Wow, it looks so soft and tender like he conditions it every morning.I bet he does. Gene cannot give anyone such perfect wavy hair. My gaze remains on his hair as my hand moves instinctively to his tousled hair.My fingers sink into his hair, brushing through it in a gentle motion like I am soothing a restless child to sleep.I smile. His arm tightens around my waist and my heart skips a beat. I freeze, my hand still in his hair, heart slamming violently against my ribs.“Mater…” he whispered, his eyes still closed.*****Morning light creeps into the room, affecting my eyes. I blink slowly and finally open my eyes.Surprisingly, he is no longer beside me. I turn and my eyes land on him, standing before his mirror and buttoning up his sky blue shirt.I push myself up on my elb

TessaI stare at the blood stains on the bedsheets. What have I done?I just had sex with Kael, my husband-to-be’s younger brother. Not that it's a union built on love but still, this doesn't feel right. He rises, pecking my bare shoulders. “You're fantastic.. little wolf,” he says, tracing his lips to my neck. “Come with me to the shower, I want to wash you off myself,” he whispers hoarsely.“I want to go back to my room,” I say, clutching the sheets closer to me. “Your brother could be back anytime soon.”“No, he won't..” he pecks my neck, sending a slight shiver in me. “Not until at least 4pm and now my love… is still around 1pm.” His tongue traces down my back, kissing it.I extract myself and get out of the bed, avoiding eye contact with him. “What's wrong?” He asks, putting on his boxers and dragging himself out of the bed. “Some minutes ago, you were begging me not to stop and now… you're looking sad.”“This was not just how I imagined my first sex to be,”“How did you imagine

TessaI shake my head at once, “no…. I didn't.” I lie, hoping he believes me.He keeps walking and I drag my feet a step backwards, reaching the edge of my dressing table.“Why does it seem like you did?” he asks quietly, closing the space I’m trying to keep between us.I pivot to the side, busying myself with nothing, my hands arranging my hair brushes and combs together. “It’s the soap,” I say quickly. “Some got into my eyes while I was bathing…. I”I am not done speaking and I feel his fingers on my chin, directing me to look at him. I do. He doesn't look away, his gaze on me is disturbing.“What happened?” he asks.I twist out of his hold. “Nothing happened,” I say, making sure I avoid eye contact with him. “I just need my locks changed.”He doesn’t answer right away. He just looks at me.“I’ll have your locks changed,” he says at last. “I’ll go get what’s needed.”“No.” I snap, throwing my gaze at him.His brows lift slightly.“I…” My hands curl into fists at my sides. “Get someo
