Mated To The Brutal Alpha のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

Tessa My breath feels stolen the moment we step out of the plane. A Bentley is already packed aside and ready to receive us. Even the golden insignia on it gives me a shiver. Two men bow before Kael, one takes the bag to the booth while the other opens the car door. Kael hasn't said another word after he clearly mentioned that the Lycan King of the East is a best friend to his brother, the Lycan king of the North. I should be relieved that my chances of getting justice for my sister have widened but I'm not. Kael must have gotten a glimpse of what was in that letter, a proof of my innocence, yet he hasn't said anything about it. Instead he tells me I'm likely to meet my Lycan king here. The engine ignites and moves. I throw my gaze to Kael who has pulled out his phone again and glued his gaze to the screen. I take a deep breath and look through the tinted window. The world here is so different, the houses are taller than what we have in the east. I gaze around, mountains s

TessaI nod, my legs shaking. “I… I… I agree.” I swallow. “I won't let…. I won't let your brother ever touch me.”He smiles.“That's for you to kiss me… what about me letting you kiss me?” I whisper. He furrows his brows.“Promise me that you will slay George and I will let you kiss me.” I blurt out.He leans out and scoffs. “I should kill a man for a kiss?”“It would be my first kiss.”He stares at me for a while then begins to caress my face with his hand. I feel the warmth of his touch as my eyes close. Before I can open it, his lips are on mine and it tastes so good. I open my mouth, letting him devour me. His mouth moves against mine with a strange mixture of restraint and possession as though he’s testing how much of me he’s allowed to claim. My breath catches, my body going rigid for a heartbeat before it melts. My heart pounds so violently that I can feel it echo in my throat. His hand slides from my cheek to the back of my neck, his fingers threading through my hair, holding

Tessa Instinctively, I drop to my knees, the back of my hands flying towards the stained areas of his trousers. “I’m so…so sorry,” I stammer, breath shaking. “I didn’t mean to be… clumsy, I…” I wipe the stains but when my hands get to his waist area, he jerks back as if my touch burns. “What... are you doing?” he growls. I freeze, my hands suspended mid-air, dripping stew. “I… I was just…” I say as I glance at him. Oh no! What mess have I gotten myself into? How can I undo this? His pupils seem dilated, fury igniting in his eyes. To my surprise, his large hand clamps around my upper arm and he yanks me to my feet, my legs trembling violently. He stares into my eyes and I swallow hard, widening my eyes. He then suddenly lets go. “Your eyes,” he says and grabs me again. This time around, pulling me closer. A startled gasp rips from my throat as my body collides against his chest. I try to step back, but his hold tightens. “Do it again!” He commands. “Do… do wha

TessaI should tell him bluntly that I didn't kill my sister but what difference would it make? My father wouldn't blink an eye in killing my friends, should I try to escape this.Kael is right, the only escape from this is stalling and making sure I don't get intimate with the devil himself. But even so, this cannot be my life.“You’ve gazed at the girl for too long… Priestess.” He says to the priestess, jerking me out of my thoughts. She throws her gaze at him.“I'm guessing you've found a remedy to my problem.” He furrows his brows firmly. She nods, then glances at me before walking to the shelf.I swallow my breath and begin tapping my finger on my dress.“This healing tea could help heal her wolf,” she says, pulling out a jar from the shelf. “Three drops every night will go a long way.”“For how long?” He cuts in, stepping forward.Sunny healing and getting stronger has always been my heart's desire. Yet, somehow, I don't feel so enthusiastic about the tea. I mean what's the ess

Tessa “All is forgiven… Kael.” The stranger says. I am still trying to process everything when Kael drags me to his side, my whole body suddenly trembling. “Do you not know who he is?” Kael whispers. I shake my head, still staring at the stranger. Kael takes a deep breath, then throws his gaze at him. “Permit to introduce you to my brother's bride-to-be… Miss Theresa Moonbane….” The stranger’s face tightens instantly. His smile disappears and his jaw begins tightening. My heart beats faster, I cannot decipher why the sudden change of expression. Could he be the Lycan King of the West, the one sitting Damon's throne? Kael extends his hand to him, to further introduce him, I guess. “And this is Alpha Lennox, the Lycan King of the East and your step-uncle.” My heart skips a beat. It can't be, I didn't just meet aunt Ophelia's brother only to have a bad start with him. I open my mouth to speak but I can't find the right words. Him, on the other hand, throws me a glare.
