I Need You, My Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 141 - チャプター 150

XARION'S POVThe second I see Vance step through that door, my entire body goes rigid.Every muscle locks up, my hands knotting into fists at my sides, and my wolf growls inside me, bristling with territorial fury. What the hell is he doing here?Vance's eyes don't even land on me. They go straight to Megan, and the concern that washes over his face makes my blood boil.He looks at her like she's his to worry about. Like he has any right to be here."What do you want?" I bite out, my voice low and dangerous. He doesn't answer right away. He just keeps staring at Megan, his jaw tight, his knuckles white at his sides."I was told Megan was brought here," he finally murmurs, his voice strained. "By you.""And?" I counter sharply, rising to my feet."I've been looking everywhere for her, Xarion," he continues, finally dragging his gaze away from Megan to meet mine. "How is she? Where did you find her? Who kidnapped her?"The questions follow each other without pause, and each one grates a

MEGAN'S POVI wake up gasping. My heart's pounding so hard it feels like it's trying to break through my ribs, and for a terrifying moment, I think I'm still there.Still tied to that chair. Still surrounded by masked men. Still trapped in that cold, dark warehouse with no way out.Panic seizes my chest, and I try to move, but my body feels heavy, sluggish, like I'm moving through water. And then I blink.Once. Twice. And the world comes into focus.White walls. Soft lighting. The steady beep of a heart monitor beside me.A hospital.I'm not in the warehouse.I'm in a hospital.Relief crashes over me so hard it makes my head spin, and I have to take a few slow, shaky breaths to ground myself. It's okay. I'm safe. I'm safe here.I remember now. Andrew. He found me. He cut me free. And then… then I passed out.Everything after that is a blur.I glance around the room slowly, my eyes adjusting to the light streaming in through the window. It's daytime. Noon, maybe, judging by the angle o

DANIELLE'S POVI've been sitting in this goddess forsaken hospital parking lot for hours.Hours.Watching. Waiting. Seething.I watched Xarion carry Megan's limp, pathetic body out of that warehouse like she was something precious, something worth saving, and I had to sit there in my car, hidden in the shadows, absolutely powerless to stop it.I couldn't do a damn thing.I wanted to scream.I wanted to tear my hair out.I wanted to ram my car into his and finish what the kidnappers started. But I couldn't.There were too many witnesses. Too many eyes. Too much risk.So I followed them here instead, my hands white-knuckled on the steering wheel, my blood roaring in my ears, drowning out everything else. And I've been here ever since.Waiting for my moment.Watching Xarion pace the corridors like a caged animal, watching Vance show up looking devastated and concerned, watching them both hover around her like she's some kind of glass doll. It's disgusting. It's like the universe itself i

MEGAN'S POVOf all the ways I imagined finding out the truth, it wasn't like this. Not at gunpoint. Not in a hospital gown, bruised and barely held together, staring down the barrel of a weapon in the hands of a woman who looks like she's been waiting years to pull the trigger. But here we are.I stare at Danielle, my mind racing to process everything she just said, every word dropping into place like puzzle pieces I didn't even know were missing. The prophecy was a lie.Xarion didn't fully choose to hurt me. He was manipulated into it.And Danielle was behind everything. All of it. Every single piece of pain I carried for four years, every sleepless night, every time I looked at the twins and felt that bittersweet ache of raising them alone, every moment I spent rebuilding myself from nothing because the man I loved shattered me. Wondering what I did wrong, wondering why Xarion looked at me like I was nothing. That was her.All of it was her.I feel tears slide down my cheeks, hot an

XARION'S POVI'm halfway out of my clothes and about to finally, mercifully, sleep when my phone rings.I stare at the screen for a second, bleary-eyed and running on nothing, and I almost don't answer it.Almost.I'm still irritated from the hospital, from standing in that room watching Vance hover over Megan like he had a right to her, from the way she looked at him and then looked at me and I couldn't read which one of us she actually wanted there. I left because staying was making things worse and I knew it, even though leaving felt like swallowing glass. But it's the hospital's number calling right now, and my body moves before my brain catches up, snatching the phone off the nightstand and pressing it to my ear."Alpha Xarion?" The voice on the other end is brittle and measured, but there's an urgency underneath it that jolts my spine straight immediately."Speaking," I reply, my voice rough. "What's wrong?""Sir, there's been an incident involving Ms. Pierce." A brief pause. "A
