JARED'S POV I picked up the cup of wine and took a sip. My gaze remained distant, and my thoughts swirled. Tonight marked the first day of my separation from Kane. A three-year relationship was gone... just like that. I closed my eyes, tried my best to swallow the lump in my throat, and drank the wine again. It was the only thing I could do at the moment. JARED'S POVI watched as the door closed behind Stephen, and I sighed deeply. Even though it had been five days since I learned about my new secondary gender, it was still too difficult to accept. An older scentless woman, an older Alpha man, and two younger Alphas... a man and a woman. The middle-aged couple looked really good. The man looked handsome, and so was the woman, but the younger ones weren't left behind either. Especially the female, she looked more like a doll, and if I were still a beta, I would have thought she was a strong omega. I stared dumbfoundedly, waiting for them to say anything. JARED'S POV I patted my belly with satisfaction written across my face. Mother Juliana had spent a whole hour feeding me, placing different dishes on my plate until I had no means to swallow the food anymore. Father Leo wasn't any different either. He practically gave me all the meat from his plate. His smile grew bigger as I ate everything he gave, and to not disappoint him, I made sure to eat almost everything he sent to my plate. I drew in a deep breath, trying to hide my excitement. Across the table, Sterly's face was all red from Drake's endless pestering. "I want to give Jared that sunset paint. Which do you want?" Drake chirped. Sterly chewed silently, ignoring Drake. But Drake wasn't depressed. He laughed and held Sterly's arm. "My darling little brother, won't you make big brother happy? Just a word. Say anything you want, and I'd paint it for you." He pleaded. I watched with great interest.

JARED'S POV I wanted to refuse, turn around, and escape, but my legs moved before my mind could. I found myself standing before Sterly, and he grabbed my hand, pulling me closer. I slumped on his lap. His hands wrapped around my waist and he breathed into my neck. I shuddered. Sterly chuckled. "You are a lot more sensitive." He pointed out and swallowed my earlobe. His warmth covered me and my fingers twitched. I closed my eyes, sucking back the moans at the tip of my tongue. Sterly's hands kneaded my waist. The sensitivity made me feel like I was losing my mind. I tried to convince myself to stop him. Everything between us was fake. The marriage. The love. Nothing was real. But I found myself wanting him more. I shifted my butt on his lap, resting on his bulge and he groaned. His fingers moved up and covered my nipples. He pinched and rubbed it. "No..."
