The Alpha’s Treaty, Now His Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

PENIELDays passed and talks of Alpha Luciano choosing his Luna were circulating the pack like wildfire. I heard the whispers in the corridors, the excited murmurs of the pack members as they prepared for the sacred Choosing Moon Ceremony. It was a ritual as old as the pack itself, where the Alpha formally chose his Luna, the mother of his future pups. And everyone knew who the Alpha would choose Julie, his long-time love, his woman, his supposed soulmate. The thought made my stomach twist with anxiety. I tried to brush it off, telling myself it was none of my business, that I was just a temporary vessel for the Alpha's pups. But the fear and frustration lingered, simmering just beneath me.As I walked through the pack's communal area, I caught snippets of conversation from the elders, their voices hushed."No unmated female with no rank can be chosen." one of them said, his voice dripping with disdain. "It's unheard of." Another agreed. "The Alpha must choose someone worthy of s

PENIELI stood at the edge of the great hall, watching as Alpha Luciano made the announcement. "Tonight, we celebrate a new chapter in our pack's history." He said. "Tonight, we celebrate our new Luna!" "My new Luna, Peniel!" He added and the room erupted into cheers and applause, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. I scanned the crowd, and my eyes landed on the empty seats. Julie's family and friends were noticeably absent, and I wondered if they were still reeling from the defeat. But the rest of the pack didn't seem to care. They were too busy congratulating me, bowing down to me, and whispering words of praise in my ear. I felt like a queen, but a part of me knew it was all a facade."Congratulations, Luna." a voice whispered in my ear and I turned to see Preya, a warm smile on her face. "You deserve it." "Every bit of it." She added, her voice barely audible over the dining of the party.I smiled, feeling a surge of gratitude towards her. "Thank

I was deep in sleep when a strange sensation stirred me, a feeling that someone was watching me. My eyes snapped open, and I flinched in surprise. Sitting quietly beside my bed was a young girl, her gaze fixed on my face.“Who are you?” I asked, startled. She smiled warmly, unfazed by my reaction. “I’m your roommate. You arrived late last night while I was already asleep,” she said. “My name is Shirley.”I nodded slowly, still trying to process the moment. A part of me wondered why she hadn’t waited for me to wake up naturally instead of watching me so intently like a creep. “I’m Anya,” I said, and she nodded before rising to her feet.“I’ve been assigned as your chaperone,” she explained. “I’ll fill you in on everything later, but for now, it’s time to get ready for class. You wouldn’t want to be late on your first day, would you?”Her words echoed the warning from the mysterious man I’d met the night before. A chill ran through me as the memory resurfaced, and I quickly sat up.“

PENIELI woke up from a deep slumber, my eyes fluttering open to a bright, sterile light and I looked around, taking in my surroundings. I wasn't in my room, and where I was looked like some kind of hospital. The beeping of machines, the scent of disinfectant, it all felt so foreign.I tried to sit up, but a wave of weakness washed over me, forcing me back onto the pillows. That's when I saw her. Preya, her eyes red-rimmed, her face contorted in a mixture of grief and relief, ran towards me, sobbing like a baby."Peniel!" She cried as she noticed me. "Preya, what's... what's wrong?" I tried to ask, my voice hoarse, barely audible."Oh Peniel, you're awake, thank goodness." But Preya's sobs drowned out my words. She collapsed onto the bed, her arms wrapping around me, holding me tight. I felt her tears soaking my hospital gown, and I knew something was terribly wrong. The pack healer appeared, her expression somber, her eyes filled with a deep sadness. "Peniel, child, thank your

JULIE I sat in the carriage, my fury boiling over like a pot left unattended. How could she? How could that stupid, weak girl steal the Alpha's heart? No, how could he?After all that we've been through together, how could he let himself be swayed by that silly peasant? His mate, indeed! A joke, a mere jest. I, Julie, was the one meant to be by his side, to rule this pack with him."Father's men, efficient as always." I muttered to myself, my voice barely audible over the rumble of the carriage wheels.I thought back to the events that had led me to this moment. The spies I'd planted in the pack, patiently waiting for my orders to protect me or strike. And it had all been for naught. Peniel, had wiled her way into the Alpha's heart, and now she was the one basking in his affection.Affection that used to be meant for only me. But I had learned a valuable secret. She'd lost her baby, infact, not one but two. She must be in a lot of pain right now. A pang of guilt tried to
