"Who ?" ...she was expecting to hear "what happened?", just so she could lie like she had done to Draco. But looking at Ray, she felt his glary eyes peering into her soul in such a way that he could dictate a lie. She, however, tried her luck. "I fell down and….""Who did this? Who caused this wound or rather bruise on your forehead?" Ray interrupted, tilting his head . "It was an accident " . Lorna responded again. "Caused by who?" "Noone...i ..i just fell and it happened ". She stuttered, avoiding his eyes this time. Lorna didn't know how to explain the story behind her injury. What would she say? That her coursemate used disrespectful words on her, forcing her to tell who her husband was, threatened her friend, got into a quarrel with the course rep and as she was about to separate the two, she got the blow?? It sounded cringe to even tell Ray about! "You're lying, Lorna. Sit your ass down and speak up, else you might get another plaster somewhere not

Lorna's POV :I sat on the sofa bed, staring at the fine ceiling for some minutes. My mind was empty, yet it had a lot to think of. One of the maid servants had helped me with dressing the bruise on my forehead. I literally had no one to do it for me, Ray was never an option, so the girl chose to help. I was just on a call with Don Juan, the audacious Don who wants me to eliminate Ray for his own reasons and not necessarily for my freedom. Now, he already knew that I would be at home for two days because of my wound and he also knew about Ray's presentation in a few days. Why didn't he just hand over this whole plot to Jeremy?, I thought to myself. I'm sure there would be no backing out since Jeremy is also involved and perhaps, he wouldn't let me back out. That guy recently had his eyes all over me since we went to Don Juan's villa. The Don already said I knew what to do, yet I knew nothing...absolutely nothing. But I just had to do something!

Ray wasn't surprised at all. He simply swallowed hard and said "noted " while passing his father. Getting upstairs, it was noticeable that people had been in his chambers . The whole upstairs had just two sides which they called chambers and both contained a living room, bedrooms, closets, a spare room,the balcony , elevator and hallways. Only Ray's chamber had a home theater. He just had this feeling that some people had come to his side. On getting into his bedroom using the other side door, he found Lorna on the two-seater sofa. She was startled as soon as that door opened and Ray got in. "Ray" Lorna immediately called, not even realizing it'd been a while she mentioned his name. She didn't even know when he got back. She hoped he didn't eavesdrop on the call she had just finished making when Draco and his men left. "What happened here? Why are you on edge?" He quizzed, tilting his head one side and walking close to her. " On edge? No.

Ray paused while eating immediately Draco said Valerie was going to come. I wondered who the lady was. It seemed Draco knew her or perhaps, she was part of the mafia. I learnt that ladies do join the Mafia. Maybe she was part of a sub-gang under the City Council. But, it wasn't so."Is she meant to come? You clearly said it's a Mafia party and she isn't part of it". Ray quizzed, he seemed a bit upset . "Liam is one of the top ranking members in the City Council. He has the right to bring his daughter. Besides, she's not a novice in the mafia business …" "Then why isn't she among the members specifically?" Ray interrupted immediately. He was already angry and I was thinking he's had a beef with the said lady. Maybe she was his ex before Disha. I just didn't know what to think. I kept eating, my mind still living amidst their discussions. "She might soon be among the sub-gangs. Listen to me, I call the shots here. She might come if Liam wants her to, I don't know yet.

The members of the Headers had gathered in a secluded hall at Don Juan's mansion, for an urgent meeting. The Don was to let them in on his recent plans and doings and of course, how they'll key into the next goal in case the first one flops. Staring at everyone in the faces, Juan realized how much of his men he had lost amongst the Headers within the last few months all because of Draco. It seemed as though he had lost to him, but with the recent plan on ground, he would hit Draco where it would hurt him the most. "A moment of silence for our lost men , please " he said, shutting his eyes a bit as he stood before his men. A minute passed by and the silence was over, then he sat down. "This gathering is simply to tip y'all on the recent plans and goals. The aim has been to pull down the City Council since Draco took my deal and has literally closed it all with Mr Diego. The death of Barrett and Stewart was the last straw and since then, I've been making lots of pla
