~Lindsey~Seeing Logan in good spirits made today feel a little less insane. I guess I had gotten in the habit of having him around all the time and forgotten how lonely it can feel when he’s not around. We step out of his room while the nurse examines him. ~Lindsey~ The next few days fly by. Thanks to his alpha blood and lots of intensive therapy, Logan is ready to come home by Wednesday. Luna Maci and I decided to put together a private welcome home party for him with only his family and closest friends. Dad even let me leave school early to help out. ~Lindsey~ The next two days go by in a haze. Everyone seems to be in their own little world. Callie and Trey have decided to have their mating ceremony the week after our finals. Deanna and I both told her that it might be too much, but she insists that she’s fine. Thankfully, we’ve helped plan out every detail; all that’s left is to put it all together. Deanna and Grant have been by my side constantly. Grant has taken over after school “little luna” duty until Logan is all clear. It feels like the bond between us grows stronger every passing day; he can basically read my mind at this point. It’s honestly a relief knowing that, unless things change, Deanna will be around to help me with all the planning like Aunt Cammie helps Luna Maci. I just wish Colton could a mate, chosen or fated. Logan is furious, but my dad refuses to give him a full medical release. He still walks me to every class at school and hangs around the packhouse because “home is less fun”, according to him.
