Chapter 1: Dress Shopping

When I was a young girl, all I wanted in life was to be an adult. Well, now I’m an adult and all I want is to go back in time and be that little girl I once was. Life is funny isn’t it. Chapter 2: Begin The Dilemma

My evening went a little different tonight. As I usually would sit here with a glass of wine, writing, looking out into the beautiful scenery I have surrounded myself with, tonight I sit here with a glass of wine, writing about my experiences today. Antonio is on my mind, the thoughts of Albert calling me, he is a mystery though. Antonio, Albert, wine, writing, daydreaming…Sitting here watching the deer scamper across my field, seeing little animals that I would assume to be rabbits or opossums, I come to a blank. Chapter 3: Unexpected Company

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been on more dates than I have been in the past thirty six years of my life. Yes, with both guys. I’ve been on more dates with Antonio, but just as nice dates as with Albert. Why is my life being so complicated right now? It makes for great music though, I must say…Over the past two weeks, I have learned so much about my two guys that it's making my decision even harder. Chapter 4: Could I Have Both?

As I am driving back out to my countryside retreat, I give Antonio a call. Did that really just happen back at the restaurant? I come into the city for an innocent lunch with two of my best friends, only to get blindsided the way I did. Yes, I do like Albert, really I do, but not today… This was not the time.I connected the call to Antonio who would like to see me later. I guess now is as good a time as any. Chapter 5: The Plus One

As I open my eyes to the sun shining brightly into my bedroom window, I glance over and notice that the other side of the bed is disturbed. Um. I slightly raise the sheet and notice that my body is exposed. I usually don’t sleep naked. I have always had a fear of fire or well being alone, a break in, and I want to be able to get out of either, not naked.I don’t feel hung over so it’s not that I was drunk and just took off my clothes. I hear the ensuite toilet flush and the sink water run. I hurry to shut my eyes as the bathroom door opens. As I am laying there undisturbed, I hear a body walking across the floor and back into my bed. Antonio leans over and kisses my forehead. I begin to stir, or well act like it’s waking me up. Chapter 6: The Plane

So it’s two nights before the Grammy’s and Albert still has not texted me back or called. Oh well, he can just keep it that way until this night is over. I have been practicing my performance, several times a night, every night since I found out. As nervous as I feel, I think it will be okay.Antonio has been amazing. He actually has stayed at my place many times since that first night that we spent the entire night together. He has been wonderful to me, to my feelings, to my nerves about performing. I just finished up another practice. “You’re going to be amazing! Do not doubt yourself! Chapter 7: Suite For Two

Thankfully when we got off the plane, we lost sight of Albert. I’m not letting him ruin my weekend with an incredible man. Satan is not winning, I’m not ruining this and neither is Albert. After heading to baggage claim and getting our luggage, we head to a taxi.Our hotel isn’t too far from the airport, but we have luggage, my dress, and after the flight I’ve had, I'm not in the mood to walk. Chapter 8: Steal The Show

Beep… Beep… Beep… The morning came too fast. Last night was amazing. Well, most of it was, you know the second half of everything that happened. Well, dinner was nice too so, remember that middle part, Aria here has to ignore all of that and just make it through the day. I lay here as I shut off the alarm, looking at my hand. Is this real? Chapter 9: Back To Reality

Beep… Beep… Beep… Why can’t we just stay in bed a little bit longer? I’m really happy to head home to my oasis but this little vacation has been amazing. Well, it’s a work vacation but it was still amazing. I won six awards, I performed a song, yes me, I sang in front of thousands in attendance and many more watching on television. Chapter 10: First Night Alone

Having just come home from a wonderful weekend, a wonderful engagement weekend, a great Grammy’s weekend, I needed some time to myself to decompress. Antonio had a few meetings in the city tomorrow morning so we both felt it best for him to stay at his place in the city. That was completely fine with me because I just wanted a little time alone, away from everyone. I think it’s because I’m used to being alone, out here at my country retreat. I do not like spending nights at Antonio’s place because I do not like how loud the city is. That kind of life isn’t for me. I’m so used to being out here, that’s where I love to be. So when we get married… wow, when we get married, that’s so strange to even talk about. Will we live here? I’m not moving to the city, sorry. I hope it’s definitely where I stay, here.
