Rene’s POV I stared at my husband in the hospital bed as the beeping sound continued to sound. He was pale and weak, frail. His handsome features were still there but fading. My husband.. My vibrant husband.. My first love. I cleaned the tears away from my eyes looking away so he wouldn't see it. “Rene.. Hey… look at me” he called to me with his weak voice. “Don't be like this.. We have talked this over. I don't want you sad and crying when I’m spending my last days. I want my last memories with you smiling” I sniffed. “Nathan I just can't come to terms that you're leaving me. I can't.. I can't do without you Nat.. My life would be…” I whispered.. The tears rolling down freely. My husband had been battling Meningioma for a year. He fought, but over time, he became weak. “You promised you were going to fight Nat.. For me.. For us” I held his hands firmly. “Please… please don't leave me” “Baby please… “ a fit of cough cut him short as he wheezed “Hey.. Easy” I handed him a bott

Rene’s POVIt’s good to see you again, Mrs. Daniels. I see that it’s been a while. Will Mr. Daniels be joining you?”“No.”I nervously smiled at the receptionist at the front desk of Coverts as the music pumped through the speakers. I couldn’t believe I was going through with this ridiculous plan, aided on by the encouragement of my cousin, Lisa. When I told Nathan that I was heading out, honoring his wishes, he smiled happily and told me to go. I had paid extra for a night nurse to tend to him, asking them to call me if there was an emergency. The nurse smiled and assured me she had it under control.“Enjoy yourself, ladies.”Lisa tugged at Tatum’s hand, leading me toward the barstools. The bartender, a shirtless, muscular, deep chocolate brother with dreads, came over to take their order.“Ladies. You’re looking good tonight. What can I get you to drink?”“What about you?” Lisa asked, seductively. I slapped her on the leg. “Ouch!”The bartender gave a soulful laugh. “Sorry, ladies.

Rene’s POVI trembled as Kai moved closer. “I am here with Lisa. What am I supposed to do? Just leave her here? I can’t do that, Kai!” I didn’t recognize my voice as I spoke. Who was I right now?Kai leaned back, his eyes studying my face as if to see if I was lying. Satisfied that I wasn’t, he answered with a calmer tone. “I’ll make sure she gets home. But for now, you need to go.” With the other hand, he opened the door to the room slightly and nodded toward it. “Now. Leave.”I said nothing as I backed out of the door as Kai slammed it in my face.Terrified, I went back toward the Cloud Room to find Lisa, to tell her what happened and give her a heads-up that Kai was there. Thankfully, the young man who had approached me was gone.I checked the room, trying to find Lisa, but there were no signs of her. I walked toward the pools, only to find my cousin getting her pussy eaten out by the handsome guy from before, while another guy with blonde tipped dreads had his dick down her throa

Rene’s POVI sat back in the chair. “Nathan...he can’t...I mean... He shouldn’t have done that. I am not his property to will to the next man. This isn’t ancient times. ”“I know,” Remy said. “And I agree. You can do whatever you want. But Rene, Coverts? I know you were honoring Nathan’s wishes, but baby girl, you don’t need that place.”“Why? Because I have you all?”“Yes,” Remy said.“And you were there the whole time?” I directed her question at Kai, whose face turned redder by the second. His full beard couldn’t hide it.“I was. I saw you and Lisa come in, and I just watched you. And when that guy, that toddler who’d been eyeing you the minute you walked in, approached you, I knew I had to step in.”“You didn’t have to yank me into a dark-ass room and threaten me! You scared the shit out of me, Kai! I thought someone was trying to assault me. God!”“Good lord,” Remy mumbled .“You threatened her?” He asked. “Damn, Kai, you need to get a hold of your anger issues.”“It wasn’t a thr

Rene’s PovThe pulsation between my legs was becoming stronger, directing Remy to the center of my desire. I watched as Remy sat back down, his chair pushed back far enough to where I could see him continuing to stroke himself, this time his hands clearly inside his boxers.“Look at those pretty, round nipples. Those fair areolas.. I wish I could take one in my mouth. Hmm... Why don’t you do that for me?”My brow rose. “You want me to...”He nodded. “Suck your nipple. Suck it as if I were there.”I lifted one breast, bending down slightly, and allowing my tongue to circle my nipple. Within seconds, it was hard against my tongue. I sucked, flicking my tongue across both my nipples and around my areolas. An electric sensation coursed through my body as I slipped my hand between my thighs, stroking my already-sensitive clit.“Tell me what you’re doing,” he asked between ragged breaths as he stroked his dick, now visible, its head shiny and coated with a generous amount of precum. “Tell m
