Bound by Blood のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

### DANTE’S POVThe high-frequency shriek of the tech monitor was still ringing in my ears when the cold rain sprayed through the open doors."Elara!" I roared, the effort tearing at my chest and sending a fresh wave of agony through my ribs. I tried to lurch forward, to crawl after her, but the heavy copper mesh she had thrown over me felt like a lead shroud, pinning me to the floor."Dante, stop! You'll rip the stitches!" Sophia cried, her voice cracking with a mix of grief and terror. She threw her weight onto my shoulders, her hands slick with a combination of Kovac's blood and my own.Through the open doorway of the transport, the world was a chaotic blur of pitch-black night and blinding searchlights. The rhythmic, deafening thud of the helicopter blades was directly overhead now, whipping the rain into a furious frenzy. And there, stepping directly into the spotlight, was Elara. She didn't run. She didn't seek cover. She walked with a terrifying, calculated grace right into the

### ELARA’S POVThe stasis cuffs snapped shut around my wrists.Instantly, a localized electromagnetic pulse surged through my primary conduits, forcing a hard reset on my motor functions. My knees gave out, the synthetic joints locking up as I collapsed into the freezing mud. The cold water pooled around my chassis, but I could no longer feel the tactile telemetry. My sensory grid was fading, reducing the world to a low-resolution, monochrome feed."Asset is secure. Initiating neural dampener," the squad leader announced.A heavy, magnetized disk was slapped against the nape of my neck. A piercing scream of static ripped through my consciousness as the device began uploading a localized firewall, systematically walling off my cognitive arrays.*Warning: External override detected.**Cognitive autonomy: Compromised (47% and falling).*Through the digital haze, I watched the operatives hook heavy tow-cables to my shoulder mounts. They were going to haul me away like a piece of salvage

ELARA'S POV THE BREAKING POINTThe blade was cold, an icy line of sheer terror against my skin before the pain even had a chance to register.Even with my head spinning and the heavy, sickening side-effects of whatever drug they’d pumped into my neck finally wearing off, I felt the exact second the steel broke the surface. It wasn't some distant, abstract concept. It was a sharp, biting agony that sent a violent shiver straight down my spine, waking up every single nerve ending in my body."Last chance, Elara," the Director murmured. He didn't look angry. That was the most terrifying part of this entire nightmare. He looked like a surgeon preparing for a routine, tedious procedure, his eyes calm and completely detached. He didn't see a human being strapped to this chair; he saw a locked safe, and he was more than willing to use a crowbar to pry it open."The code," he said, his voice dropping to a low, demanding purr. "Or I start cutting until you decide your memories aren't worth yo

ELARA'S POV My fingers stretched as far as they could, but the cold edge of the leather strap was still just out of reach. Red emergency lights flashed against the concrete walls, throwing long shadows across the ceiling. On the floor, the Director was groaning. His hands were clamped over his eyes, and blood mixed with soot was leaking through his fingers. He was dizzy and confused, but the pure terror of what he would do when he got up kept my heart pounding hard against my ribs.I was exhausted. The drug was still in my system, making my arms and legs feel incredibly heavy. Every single movement took everything I had. I wasn't a hero in a movie. I was just a bleeding, terrified girl tied to a chair, and my body was giving up on me.I ignored the sharp pain in my left arm and threw my whole weight to the right, tilting the heavy metal chair. The legs scraped against the tile floor with a loud screech that went straight through me. I managed to gain a few inches. My nails scraped ag

## Sophia POVThe air rushed past me, cold and screaming, a deafening roar that swallowed my own voice. For a second, there was no ground, no sky, just the terrifying weightlessness of falling.*This is it,* my mind shrieked. *I’m dead.*Then, a violent, bone-jarring crash.I didn't hit the concrete. Instead, my back slammed into a tangle of thick, heavy power lines stretched across the alley. The impact knocked the wind completely out of my lungs, turning my vision into a blur of static and pain. The cables groaned, dipping wildly under my weight, before pitching me sideways. I rolled off the wires, dropping another ten feet through the air, and crashed straight into the rotting, saturated pile of cardboard boxes we had passed earlier. The boxes collapsed under me, dampening the final blow but sending a wave of agonizing pain through my shoulder and ribs. For a long, terrifying moment, I couldn't move. I couldn't even breathe. I just lay there in the trash, gasping like a fish out of
