Trapped by the Savage Alpha のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

(Xalik)With every passing day, Zorya was occupying my heart. Watching her being groped by Caliath, knowing that he had been abusing her, had taken a toll on me. I hated that bastard more than Canara. One day I was going to peel the very skin from his hands and scoop out his eyeballs and keep them as souvenirs. The rage had consumed me. My mission became to safeguard her at every cost as much as I could, until I became strong enough to free her from this wretched place. If only my wolf spirit hadn't been suppressed. If only I hadn't been put under the spell and thrown here. Then I wouldn't even be able to meet her. The only good that came out of my imprisonment. I had been running blind in a dark forest, consumed by my insecurities. She was like the moonlight which had suddenly appeared, and now I had a purpose. A goal: to save her. When she cleaned me up. The way her soft fingers brushed against my skin gave me hope. Pulling me out of that pit of desolation I had fallen into by

(Zorya)He didn't wake up from my touch. They must have given him sedatives so he could sleep peacefully and heal. I stared at his placid face, smooth like the glassy surface of a mountain lake with no ripples. At least he was at peace while sleeping. I placed my hand on his bandaged chest and gently rubbed it. “I hope you are not in pain,” I whispered under my breath. Even imagining him in agony hurt my heart. The door opened, and I didn't pull my hand back, knowing it must be Ashlia checking up. She walked over to me and handed me a note. Accepting it, I read. “He is fine. Come with me to the bathroom.” I pulled my other hand from Xalik's chest and faced her. Worries ran deep on her face. Quickly, I grabbed her hand and took her towards the bathroom. There were no microphones or cameras in the bathroom, so she wanted to speak freely to me. Closing the door, I leaned against it. “I am only looking out for you. You know that,” Ashlia said with concern, lacing her voice. I nodd

(Zorya)My body screamed, my head spun, and my eyes could barely open. I focused them on the clock in my room, and it showed 11 am. “Hey! How are you feeling?” Ashlia asked, helping me up. “As if my head is going to explode,” I hoarsely whispered. “Here, drink this. It will help and will reduce the pain too.” She handed me a small glass containing clear red liquid inside, like cranberry juice. With a thankful nod, I accepted and downed it in one go.She also offered me a contraceptive pill, which I took without a question. The last thing I wanted was to get pregnant by this asshole. She sat down beside me and began scribbling on the pad before turning it towards me. “Red Room is always brutal.” With a heavy heart, I nodded, taking the pad from her. “He drugged me. I couldn't control my body's reaction.” I wrote back, turning the writing pad towards her. The images from last night were hazy, but they were there in my memory, etched like a torturous reminder. She sighed after

(Zorya) Xalik spun in his hold so fast that Madric couldn't comprehend. He extracted his leg and hit the back of Madric's neck with a kick with his other foot. “Whoa!” The crowd erupted in astonishment. Even Caliath's body felt a sense of excitement seeing Xalik slip from Madric's death grip. A barrage of kicks and punches rained down between the two before Xalik landed a straight kick to his chest. It connected, followed by grunts from both men. Madric tumbled to the ground. The cage rattled from the impact. Xalik hovered over him, a mountain of muscles and sweat. He didn't hesitate to place his bare foot on Madric's hulking chest and press him down. His steely hand callously grabbed Madric's thick neck, his face a mask of cold and angered focus. Madric clawed at his arm, trying to breathe. His sharp nails dug into Xalik’s skin, drawing blood. My heart trembled and ached seeing Xalik bleed. “Go Xalik!” The crowd roared behind him. Madric's legs thrashed on the cage ground

(Zorya)Xalik's words and indifference terrified me. Deep down, I knew he was merely saying all that to keep up appearances. He didn't mean it. What if he did? No, no, I couldn't be wrong. A constant battle my thoughts fought. What I felt with him was real. His touch, his care, his actions. He couldn't fake it all. Canara threatened me, wishing death upon me, and I wasn't even surprised. I had said or done nothing to that woman, and yet she wished pain on me. Xalik dragged me along, and I absentmindedly followed. What other choice did I have? I didn't cry; I had no more tears to spare. Once the door closed, his rigid shoulders instantly dropped. The hard expressions mellowed down to worried ones. He stepped closer, placing his gentle hands on my upper arms. “Forgive me, I only said all that so they won't suspect. I didn't mean it.” He vehemently shook his head. “I swear.” Blood splattered across his handsome face; some had even dyed his hair red. His shoulder seemed in bad s
