BOUND TO THE MOONCREST ALPHA のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

SCARLETTThe large cloak door swiveled open. All heads spun, their sharp gaze landing on me, while I held my head high, throwing a quick glance at every elder seated. I knew half of them, not personally, but I have heard Father talk of them.Wrinkled faces with sharp minds, twisted tongues, and just enough naivety to fool even the smartest.I shifted my gaze to Creighton's father, then Creighton who sat on the throne, his golden eyes firm gleaming in quiet rage, I could see his veins popping through his clenched jaws.He was certainly not happy about this. That makes two of us, but this was unavoidable.I held my breath, then moved, my heels letting out a soft thud that sliced through the tension-thick air.I walked up close, then bowed. “Long live Alpha and Godfather.” I turned to the elders, then lowered my head just for a fraction. “Greetings, the Council of Elders.”There was a brief silence before Creighton's father spoke. “You do know why you have been called.”“I do. The Counci

CREIGHTONThe car rolled into the villa, and as I ducked out, a weak smile tugged at my lips at the sight of the villa.I was finally here.Closer to her.Days trapped in that palace, reading through pack issues and several meetings was infuriating. It wasn't the fact it was boring, it was the fact it kept me away from her, away from what's mine, and it wasn't fucking helping, and the elders were determined to get rid of him.My jaw clenched and I schooled my emotion, then headed into the villa. The moment the door creaked open, the cold air oozed out, the eerie thick silence floated through the air and stirred my senses.Something was off.“Greetings, Alpha.” The maids dropped to their knees. I barely paid them attention as I made my way in; steps followed mine.“Greetings, Alpha,” Martha spoke. Her next words made every drop of blood evaporate to nothingness. “Alpha, Lady Scarlett isn't around.”I stopped dead in my tracks, then slowly I stirred to look at her.“Where is she?”I wo

SCARLETT Pain exploded in my gut with the sudden, agonizing force of a shattered blade, every muscle in my body going rigid as I felt my inner wolf letting out a desperate, strangled hiss. My breathing came out heavy, ragged, and desperate. My eyes stung violently with hot, unshed tears as I opened my mouth to cry out, but I could only gasp cold, sharp air into my burning lungs. I collapsed forward onto the forest floor, my palms digging uselessly into the damp, icy soil. I tried to stand, forcing my trembling legs to anchor themselves beneath me, but I was far too limp. The blinding agony was tearing through my insides, a visceral revolt from a weak, uncooperative wolf that refused to harmonize with my human body. Every agonizing second felt as if my organs were being twisted into tight, bleeding knots. I cranked my head back with a slow, agonizing strain, my vision swimming as my gaze met Creighton standing over me. In that fractured moment, I expected pity. I expected to look up

SCARLETTI awoke to an excruciating headache, a weak body, and the nauseating feeling to empty my stomach, although I was starving. Martha had rushed to me with her brew remedy; it was meant for strength, I took it without worrying, especially when I knew I needed it.Hours later, I lounged on my bed, flipping through the thick books while I was searching through the reading pages of the history of Lycans, the formations, and my eyes caught something off.Wolves who awaken late are the strongest, they are fast at everything, and are required to gain even more immortal strength during the rest of the time they were absent, but why exactly was my case different? My wolf was weak, barely able to hold a fifteen minute conversation.I let out a sigh and shifted my gaze to my phone; I scrolled through Instagram, reels after reel. I felt less interested; I was starting to understand why the pack didn't prioritize having phones—it was a basket of distraction which seemed to lure you in with

CREIGHTONTwo days later“What have you decided?”His voice, thick with authority and age-old impatience, pulled my attention back to him. The wind howled faintly beyond the heavy glass panes of the office, brushing against the stone walls of the keep. I was in my father's office once again, standing near the grand mahogany desk after he had demanded to see me for the very same matter I had already told him, in no uncertain terms, to quit worrying about. He leaned forward, his weathered hands planted flat on the polished wood, his dark eyes burning into mine.“You have to call this off, Creighton,” he pressed, his tone dropping into a low, desperate growl. “You and I both know Scarlett’s situation, and her damn stubbornness won't let her step back from a challenge—not even if it kills her.”“It won't kill her,” I said, my voice icy and cold, echoing off the high-arched ceilings with absolute finality. “She will be fine.”“Her wolf is weak!” My father’s voice cracked with sudden fury,
