Chapter 1: Room 217
Narragansett, Rhode Island had always been the same since always. People making crowds at the beach. Some plays while some lays. The crowds wasn’t only at the beach but as well at the place nearby. Tourists, mostly locals, came for the beach mainly, and for so the restaurants, motels, and gift shops nearby are full of people especially at this time of the week. Friday. The week almost ended so people managed to take some rest from works they did or mostly forced to do during weekdays. Well, some still works at weekends but just generalize it this time cause it was the fact of what was happening here. The crowds didn’t last for so long since there are basically nothing to visit at night, the crowds especially the ones at the shore were decreasing while the ones at the pub were increasing. People, not to mention it was dominated by the motorists, were spending their time at the pub. They could take so long there even some

Chapter 2: Passed Away
Friday, January 12th 1996 – An exact one month before Cecilia’s death. A middle-aged vigorous looking man hurriedly, looked more like in panic, grabbed his black briefcase from on the table in his room where he always put it every single day at the bakery shop he owned. Victor Hillston. It was only 10 in the morning. His bakery shop had not even swarmed by hungry New Yorkers nearby – or not nearby – at lunch time as how it always is since its grand opening last year three weeks before Christmas. He put on his brown coat with no care letting some of its tip folded and showed some wrinkle on its back. He quickly left the shop without even minding to tell his two workers there who were left in confuse not knowing what was happening. With his broad shoulder he pushed the door open and left it opened while he ran to the west where he came from every morning, to his house, and took a few seconds while on his run taking out his phone which was pretty rare for someon

Chapter 3: Four Feet Beneath
Sunday, January 14th 1996                  A guy fell asleep since last night on a couch in an old house while an older man who is his father slept on his room as usual, since this is his house. It was 4 a.m. before the sun even rose, Victor Hillston woke up, still laying on the couch he fell asleep on, didn’t feel spirited even a bit for today. It has been two days since her mother death. He still couldn’t even stop thinking of his beloved mother, Rose Hillston. Even the sleep that was mentioned before actually could not be said as sleep as how it seemed to because all Victor did was just closing his eyes for a long time, as how sleeping people would. Perhaps the same thing happened to his father inside the bedroom. Now there were no one except himself, what happened with him for two nights after his

Chapter 4: Hometown Trip
One week before Cecilia’s death – New York.                  New Yorkers seemed normal, though they always were, including Victor who sat on a chair in his bakery shop with both of his workers there, by his side, having light chit chat since no customers were there at such time. It was 8 at night. Actually a great time to have some bakeries, wasn’t it? But guess what, some fancy stuffs like lasagna attracted public’s attention more, which was shown in obvious that the restaurant beside them was full, filled with people and their hunger. Nevertheless, it was normal for Victor. It happened all the time, and he’s a good friend with the lasagna restaurant’s owner so … there is no reason can be said plausibly to pick a fight or to envy. Their light conversation filled the bakery shop to the point where Victor finally

Chapter 5: Touchdown
People surely were healing themselves from burning out due to weekdays. Or perhaps, is there something new that's interesting enough to bring a fully seated airplane of New Yorkers here, to Rhode Island, while almost everything were exist in New York? It surely was the reason for these two vigorous-looking men who were bringing their suitcase out of the airport there, being greeted by the sun which was already on its way back home. The sky at Saturday evening was covered by orange, showing a breathtaking beautiful scenery. If only it was on the beach, people here surely will take their time to enjoy the view, at least for a minute.                   Victor and Tommy, with their suitcase by their side each, were waiting by the road there waiting for the cab they ordered just a slight minute ago right after they got the suitcase. Victor still with his outfit he decided t

And so with ease after stating their intention to the receptionist there, the three of them were allowed to get inside Dr. Gold’s room. The room looked comfortable and had no feeling of hospital at all – and it was actually not a hospital since Dr. Gold held consulting session at his own house. Chapter 8: Both Sides' Secret
“How long have you been keeping this in secret?” in a moving cab a voice of a younger man finally broke the silence covered them since the time day stepped out of Dr. Gulf’s room on around 3 p.m. Not taking any glances but the tone made it clear to whom it was addressed to.                  “The beach is so crowded … wonder if this is summer already?”                  “Tommy-“ “Few months.”                  Another silence filled the cab.                   The exact night Cecilia Fidget died.                  Victor finally arrived at the apartment and gladly Dr. Gulf had prepaid the fare so he didn’t pay for it and he just left the cab. His head was aching at best and he could not see clear. Everything was blurry and spinning to him. He slowly got inside the apartment supporting his whole body with his hand on the wall so that he didn’t fall down. Thankfully that the receptionists recognize him so they just let him passed to the direction of his room. It was 10 a.m. in the morning but the sun had already risen almost completely, radiating its light and heat on the famous beach of Narragansett which was full of people, enjoying the beautiful weekend there. Even some were making a field by lining the sand to play beach volleyball there. Far, far away in the distance from the pub, can also be seen crowd, swimming in the safe area of the sea, still near the beach where it’s considered as safe since it didn’t pass the border. And here it is, the pub, Shore Side Pub, gradually got more and more regulars to come. Conversations and murmurs were filling the pub, not to ment
