Micaela Elrod can is presumed to be a normal girl by anyone who sees her. She is beautiful with a figure that has men turning their heads whenever she passes. What no one knows is that she is no ordinary girl. She is in the army and her skills are unmatched by anyone in the academy. When Ace Duhamel is told by his superior that they were expecting a new addition to his team, he hates the person automatically. He does not want anyone new in his team as he believes that they are okay as they are. He tries to convince the major general that the new lieutenant could join another team but the decision has already been made. He vows to make the new team leader's life a living hell in the team until they leave on their own. He is shocked to see the person who arrived two days later to join his team.

As soon as they landed, everyone scattered to get off the plane and head home. It sure had been a tiresome day for everyone. Duhamel headed straight to Angus’ office to complain about their crazy pilot lady. The only thing the general said was that they should have had their seat belts on as ordered. Duhamel’s only thought was that the lady was an angel straight from hell. The general looked at his team leader and smiled at how bothered he was. He shook his head thinking about how much the team needed a little bit of crazy. For Sergeant Duhamel, a new addition to their team meant adjusting and resetting things so that the new lieutenant would fit and he was not happy about that. He never liked surprises and this sure was a surprise. The team went ahead with the task at hand for the remainder of the day while they waited to see how tomorrow turned out. They were to solve a kidnapping case with a small child involved and the task was tiring. They had to be extra alert and careful since their lives and that of someone else was dependent on them. In this case, the person was defenseless and helpless. The task would have been easier for everyone else on the team but with Sergeant Duhamel’s bad mood and complaining, they got distracted a lot.Upon completion of the case, they headed to the small field where they were told a chopper was waiting for them. They even gave her a nickname due to her mysterious self ‘Mystery K’. She never failed to complete a mission and she hated working in teams. She always thought working alone would allow her to move faster and complete the mission more easily. In her previous team, they had worked together for a couple of years and she had gotten comfortable with the idea of working in teams. This however changed when half her team was killed in a mission. They had gotten a mysterious tip only to realize that it was a set up but it was too late. She was young when all this happened but that did not mean she never knew what was going on. When the police officers arrived at the scene they called for an ambulance and tried to ask her what had happened but she seemed to be in a daze. They knew that she was in shock and the events that happened would catch up with her real soon. The dead bodies were taken away and she stayed in the same position unfazed. She then turned to the pool of blood surrounding her and then looked at her bloody clothes and hands.
