For Sergeant Duhamel, a new addition to their team meant adjusting and resetting things so that the new lieutenant would fit and he was not happy about that. He never liked surprises and this sure was a surprise. The team went ahead with the task at hand for the remainder of the day while they waited to see how tomorrow turned out. They were to solve a kidnapping case with a small child involved and the task was tiring. They had to be extra alert and careful since their lives and that of someone else was dependent on them. In this case, the person was defenseless and helpless. The task would have been easier for everyone else on the team but with Sergeant Duhamel’s bad mood and complaining, they got distracted a lot.Upon completion of the case, they headed to the small field where they were told a chopper was waiting for them.
