I was standing in front of the mirror getting ready for a date with the girl I loved. I pushed my hair back and looked at my small room in my hometown Dublin. It was quite small in size but I was used to it.

I quickly finished doing my hair and looked at the time Shoot I'm gonna be late! I thought as the watch struck 7 o'clock. I rushed out of my room and after saying a quick goodbye to my mum.

I walked to my girlfriends house who was also luckily my neighbour. I reached the front door and rang the bell.

The door quickly opened and I felt small arms wrap around me "You're late" I heard her whisper and I sheepishly smiled "I'm sorry love." I whispered back and kissed her on the head.

"Ready?" I asked as we pulled back, keeping our fingers intertwined "Ready." I smiled and pulled her with me "You look beautiful, by the way" I heard myself say and felt my cheeks burning "Awe Ash! But I'm just wearing my usual jeans and shirt." She said after pinching my warm cheek.

"You look beautiful all the same." I said and saw her cheeks redden in the dim light. I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me "I love you Salvia" I whispered in her ear and saw her mouth open but then she was snatched from my arms and the scene shifted.

This time I was in a dark forest not knowing where I was. I kept on walking as I didn't know where to go when I saw a clearing in front of me.

I kept walking when I saw someone laying in between the clearing "Hello? Excuse me but do you know whe-" The words froze as I looked at the face of the person. Blood was covering her white shirt and her eyes were staring right at me.

I felt myself pale and blink a couple of times to make the sight in front of me disappear but it didn't happen. I fell on my knees and hugged her dead body "No. Please no. NO! SALVIA!" I screamed into the night.

Ash's P.O.V

"SALVIA" I screamed and sat up on my bed panting. I looked around my huge bedroom and sighed.

This always happened when her death anniversary came near. But then again it was today. I sighed again and rubbed my hands on my face before getting out of bed. I went over to the windows and looked down at the city that never slept from my penthouse apartment.

New York City. Where I've been living for the past 5 years. At the age of 20 I moved here with the girl I loved. She died a year later and was buried here instead of being buried back in Dublin.

I sighed once again and got ready. Wearing jeans and a random shirt I threw on I left the apartment. My bodyguard Harry immediately moved towards me but I shook my head at him telling him not to go with me.

I let my feet drag me to a flower shop where I got a rose and continued my journey.

Its been four years, I thought as I walked. Four years since the girl I loved died. Four years since I lost the only one I cared about.

I was lost in thought when I felt another body crash into mine. I quickly offered my hand to the girl who fell but her hair was covering her face. She grabbed my hand and I pulled her up and my body froze "It can't be." I whispered looking at the face of my dead girlfriend.
