This story is a sequel to "Rite of Submission" and I will do my best to make it as much of a stand alone story as I can, but if you feel lost, you might want to read the first book and then come back to this one.

Some the the themes and scenes found throughout the story could be triggering to some people. Please educate yourself on kink etique and negotiate clear terms before proceeding with your partner and always have a safe word in case things become too much. Don't forget to negotiate your aftercare as well.

That said. If you think you may be triggered by kinky themes, this is not the book for you.

Other triggers may include crude/crass/vulgar/explicit language and details. LGBTQ+ scenes. Blood, sex and some violence sprinkled in as well.

I groaned inwardly as my head throbbed. It was so unfair that werewolves metabolized alcohol so fast that we had to drink way more than a human to get drunk, but we that also meant the dehydration caused a mean hangover. I’d shrugged out of the suit jacket on my way down the stairs, throwing it at Dmitri as he followed me, still chuckling. For the first time ever, I found my way down to the sparring room before Nathan. It felt weird, helping to move Nathan’s things into Dmitri’s old apartment suite, across the hall from Sophia’s. I didn’t get much sleep, crawling out of bed before the sun even peeked over the horizon.
