I stormed into his office, my gaze fixed upon his godlike face, capable of toppling nations. In that moment, my purpose was forgotten, mesmerized by his presence.

As always, he displayed indifference to my sudden outburst, giving me a fleeting glance before turning away, dismissing my existence from his domain. It was his callous disregard that fueled my intense loathing. Who did he think he was?

He continued to flip through his documents, seemingly unperturbed by my unannounced arrival. Fueled by pride, I refused to speak until he acknowledged my presence. But there was an enigmatic quality about this self-centered man that eluded me. While I could usually read people effortlessly, he remained an enigma, concealing his emotions.

Unable to bear his dismissiveness any longer, anger surged through me. "What have you done to my brother?" I demanded, my face contorted with rage. His villainy knew no bounds, resorting to kidnapping my own flesh and blood to coerce me into accepting his outrageous proposal.

Without lifting his gaze or uttering a word, he treated me as though I were a mere ornament in his opulent office. Growing increasingly frustrated, I snapped, "Do you not think you are being excessively arrogant, Mr. Gray?" My composure hung by a thread. How could he disregard the lives of others, forgetting his own humanity in the process?

"Jeremy, how many times must I remind you not to address me as such?" Finally, a response, albeit one fixated on his name rather than the whereabouts of my brother.

"I couldn't care less about your demands for respect. Where on earth is my brother?" I bellowed, my patience pushed to its limits. This man was beyond belief, consumed by his own self-importance.

"Do not use profanity, Germ. It is unbecoming of a lady," Jeremy calmly retorted, his voice tinged with superiority.

"To hell with your expectations of proper behavior! I shall speak as I please. Release my brother this instant!" I fired back, my patience waning. Yet again, he chose to ignore me, placing a file before me.

"What is this?" I questioned, an ominous feeling settling within me. A sense of foreboding clung to the contents of that file.

"It's a contract. Since verbal communication seems to elude you, I have drafted a proposal that I believe will capture your attention," he stated, locking his gaze with mine, a devilish glimmer dancing in his eyes.

As tension heightened between us, the stakes grew ever higher. Little did I know that our paths would intertwine in ways unforeseen, igniting a maelstrom of passion, secrets, and unexpected turns. Our lives were about to collide, testing the boundaries of love and hatred in ways neither of us could have imagined.

Taking advantage of my distracted state, he slipped his hands into my shirt, igniting a rush of arousal and leaving me craving more of his touch.

I despised how I always succumbed to his every caress.

"You just can't resist, can you?" Jeremy's voice dripped with lust as his eyes locked onto mine.

I wanted to rebuke him, but my body betrayed me, responding eagerly to his every touch. Before I could utter a word, he captured my lips in a ravishing kiss, leaving me breathless.

In his kisses, I could feel desire and longing, mingled with his dominance and arrogance.

Part of me yearned for it to stop, but I couldn't bring myself to halt him.

As he flipped my shirt upward, I suddenly realized the direction we were headed. With a surge of determination, I pushed him away, catching him off guard and nearly causing him to stumble.

And that's when I realized I wasn't standing anymore; I found myself perched on his table, the heat of the moment enveloping us.

I berated myself inwardly. I had come here to secure my brother's release, yet here I was, swept up in the intoxicating sensations of his touch and taste.

Nonchalantly, he returned to his seat, as if nothing had happened, his gaze fixed on me with an inscrutable expression.

"The choice is not yours to make. You became mine from the moment I laid eyes on you. I will have you, whether you sign this contract or not," he declared with a possessive air.

I gazed at him, my mind swirling with confusion and a growing realization of the darkness lurking within him.
