Can we talk about the full-cast recording of 'The Golden Compass'? I know it was mentioned, but it's so good it deserves another nod. Philip Pullman's narration is warm and grandfatherly, and the voice actors bring such life to the daemons. The scene where Pantalaimon and Lyra are separated still gives me chills just thinking about the audio performance. I see a lot of fantasy and sci-fi here, so for a change of pace, the full-cast production of 'The Guest List' by Lucy Foley is excellent. It's a modern whodunit set at a wedding on a remote island. Having different narrators for each character's perspective (the bride, the plus-one, the best man, etc.) heightens the mystery, as you get the subtle biases and secrets in each performance.
