Finished book one and can't wait for the second volume of this sci-fi thriller. Need to know if it's available for purchase yet.

When I read science fiction of this caliber I usually find it on major retailers like Amazon for Kindle and Google Play Books and Apple Books as well. If I like an author I check their own website for links to buy current and past work as well as follow them on social media for links to new work as well. Most recently I have started reading The Dark Side Of Fate which is a science fiction novel that weaves a galaxy-spanning conflict into the story of a single scientist who is pressured into using his new discovery as a weapon – and it does a great job of grounding that huge scope in very personal and relatable emotions.

I am super excited for the second book in this series, Dark Matter Book 2, by Blake Crouch. Amazon will probably deliver it the fastest, followed by Bookshop.org which supports local independent bookstores, and the publisher’s website which will likely carry exclusive editions. E-book fans can find it on Kindle and Google Play Books. If you are an audiobook fan, I highly recommend getting it through Audible as the narration is wonderful and adds so much more to the story. Most books are also available at your local library which you can download to your phone or tablet through apps such as Libby to read. Pre-ordering a book can also be very beneficial as many pre-order’s come with bonus content such as early access to the book etc.

Recursion is the sequel to Dark Matter. Don’t get confused and look for Dark Matter 2. There are already enough pieces of fanfiction for these great books out there. Most people are confused about this in fan groups for Blake Crouch’s standalone sci-fi thrillers that are thematically linked but not a series. Once you have the right title, you can easily find and buy the book.

You can likely find used copies of it through ThriftBooks or Better World Books if you’re on a tight budget. They should have plenty of second-hand copies available a few years after publication, in very good condition. Unlike most textbook purchases, people don’t highlight the fiction they read, so most copies of a novel are handed down gently from person to person before being sold. Secondly, it’s sustainable and cheap.

A friend of mine dropped a copy of this at my house a few days ago after coming over for a visit. I assume he thought I ‘needed’ to read it. Be the kind of friend I am, then. Audible: The full Audible experience of the ‘Recursion’ audiobook is seriously fantastic. Jon Lindstrom’s narration of the book is equally as tense and as emotional as the writing. In my opinion, it would make for a fantastic movie and the Audible version really does bring it to life in your mind. I listened to it on my daily commute and on more than one occasion I had to pull over to the parking lot of a motorway services and finish a chapter. You can either by it as part of your Audible library or use one of your credits.

This is going to make a great movie. The plot is so visual it reads like a movie script. I am pretty sure this will be made into a movie within the next year or so. I bought this book when I heard the film rights had been sold. This was my first taste of the original source material. I purchased this book at a big-box retailer’s website.
