Eros and Ismael Severino are identical twins, both 28 years old, but their lives could not be more different.
Eros has spent the past year and a half in a coma after a tragic accident. When he finally wakes up, the first person he sees is Rica Montefalco, his 22-year-old therapist who has been helping with his recovery.
Eros immediately dislikes her.
Rica is nothing like the kind of woman he imagined himself liking. She is calm, independent, and completely unimpressed by his arrogant attitude. Yet despite his complaints, Eros cannot stop looking at her. For the first time, he finds himself thinking that perhaps the woman he dislikes is actually beautiful.
What begins as irritation slowly becomes fascination—and eventually an obsession he can no longer hide.
Rica, however, feels nothing but annoyance toward Eros. She refuses to be intimidated by his arrogance and has no intention of becoming involved with her difficult patient.
While Eros struggles with his unexpected feelings, his twin brother Ismael faces a completely different danger.
Ismael is the CEO of one of the Severino family’s companies. From the moment he first sees Sarah Lopez, he becomes intrigued by her. But Sarah is not an ordinary woman. She is a highly trained assassin whose mission is to kill Ismael.
Sarah knows that getting close to Ismael could make completing her mission easier. What she does not expect is for Ismael to become interested in her.
As the two relationships develop, both twins find themselves caught between attraction and danger. Eros must win over the woman who cannot stand his arrogance, while Ismael must survive the assassin who was sent to eliminate him.
Eventually, the walls they built begin to fall. Feelings replace hatred, and unexpected love changes all four of their lives.
