The word echoed in my head, and Cyra slowly lifted her head, her face streaked with tears, while the doctor continued. “It’s rare,” he added quickly. “And difficult to prove. But in some cases… infertility can be caused by external forces.” My arms tightened around Cyra without me realizing it.
“What kind of forces?” I asked, and the doctor exhaled.
