The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

Even quiet, serious Ethan. "We can take a break," I said. "Sit somewhere quiet. Get some food." "The children—" "The children have been running nonstop for ninety minutes. They could use a break too." I stood up. "Come on. There's a princess meet-and-greet area. Madison's been looking at the signs all morning." The princess pavilion was exactly what it sounds like. A row of small, elaborately decorated stages, each one housing a different princess from different stories. Snow White in her blue and yellow. Cinderella in her ball gown. Belle with her golden dress and her book.

Appreciation to authors writing. it is easy to visualize things while reading. I love reading this book. Mia is an inspiration except for the fact that she is using Thomas. My fav characters are Mia, Kyle, Sarah(Mia's mom), Nate, Scarlett, Katherine(Kyle's mom), Alexander, Ethan and Morton.

great story. thomas lied cause he was jealous while kyle lied cause he wanted to protect her. she clearly loves kyle even though she doesn't admit it and is only with thomas since he gives a sence of security/love to her and kids. i hope kyle and mia clear their misunderstandings and end up together

My Prince Charming Is A Princess

My Prince Charming Is A Princess

She looked like she was around mid 30s but had a good body for someone around that age. "Letty.. hey this is my friend Precious and she needs a job... So I was hoping you guys have a slot for dance teacher... coz.." "Oh she dances..." the woman said looking at me from my toes up, she stopped on my chest and said, "nice I think we..." Layla pulled her to the side and started talking very seriously. I turned to the kids and saw them dancing a bit. They were cute and funny. I went straight to them, "hey guys.."

Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

Anastasia has a glowing crown over her heart, and someday, I will as well. “You remember our daughters? Daisy, Hyacinth, Gladiola, and Iris.” Fanella had wanted to name all her children after flowers. It’s common for sprites, in particular, to name their children after plants and flowers. Obviously, Christopher didn’t mind. “Hello everyone, welcome to Araphyra.” “Hello Lady Princess, Lily.” “Do you know how many unmated males there are in the castle?” “Do you know if there are any in the surrounding forest?”

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

Changing The Princess's Fate

Changing The Princess's Fate

There are supposed to be three thrones in every events and halls, The one with the highest seat is the emperor seat, the two beside it was supposed to be for the empress and crown prince / crown princess But since dad is displeased of anything reminding him of mommy, he ordered to remove the empress seat. So now, only my seat and dad's are the one in the hall I reached the seat for me and sat there while Calix stayed standing beside me "Raise your heads," I paused and smiled at them lovingly "Glad to see that everyone are doing good, I hope to have a nice debutante' ball" With that, the music continued and the dance hall at the center part cleared a way

Royal Masquerade - The Prince And Cinderella

She wouldn’t give him words of love. “After the weekend, we are flying to Cristonia, because it’s a formality, but my father has to approve our union. But he will love you.” Nick reassured her. I only wish you did, Ella said silently in her head. Nick grinned. “I have something for you. About the fairytales we talked about earlier. Cinderella in the book lost a shoe at the ball. I don’t have a shoe for you to try on. But what….” Nick pulled something from his pocket. “…what about seeing if these fit?” Nick held up her lace underwear from the night of the ball.

Resurgence

Hecate's friends went straight to her childhood house, while their partners are going straight here, along with their children. Then in the distance, I can see a limo driving toward me. Then after a moment, the girls started getting out of the limo, then I saw Adeline along with her twin daughters and Everly with her son. I immediately bound toward them, I can see the twins, eyes getting wide as they saw the palace. "Mommy!!! We in castle mommy!!!" One of the girls squeals making us all laugh. I scrunch down at their level, "Yes, it is a castle. You know only princesses get to enter the castle and you girls are gonna enter the castle."

The Lost Princess of the Orphanage

The Lost Princess of the Orphanage

The Mate Ball was held in the enchanted forest just off campus, where the magic of the realm was at its strongest. The clearing appeared as if dripped in moonlight—gold and silver lights strung along the trees. An enamored orchestra played itself around the trunk of the largest tree. The overgrown roots acted as seating along the edge of the dance floor, and clusters of students draped themselves over the bark, lounging with drinks in hand as they watched the few dancers spin along the grassy floor. It was beautiful, but Kael was paying it no attention, despite the string of women who had already approached him for a dance.

Frequently Asked Questions

The tale of 'The Twelve Dancing Princesses' is one of those stories that’s been retold and reimagined so many times, it’s hard to keep track! The original version is often attributed to the Brothers Grimm, where it’s known as 'Die zwölf tanzerischen Prinzessinnen' in their 1812 collection. But even before that, variations of the story existed in oral traditions across Europe, with subtle differences in the number of princesses or the nature of the magical realm they visit. Some versions have fewer princesses, while others expand the cast or tweak the ending to fit local folklore.

What’s fascinating is how modern adaptations have run wild with the premise. From children’s picture books like Heather Dixon’s 'Entwined' to darker YA retellings and even ballet interpretations, each version brings its own flavor. I recently stumbled upon a Japanese light novel that reimagines the princesses as cursed idols in a fantasy world—proof that the core idea is endlessly flexible. The sheer variety makes it impossible to pin down an exact number, but if I had to guess, there are probably hundreds of iterations floating around, each with its own quirks and twists.
