Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

I flipped the novel to the back, and my eyes wandered to the details about the author and the book. "Let's just pretend like we are not, okay? Anyways, I called to remind you about the game we planned to play." My eyes went round, and I scrolled through my phone's messages to check the time. It's been twenty-three minutes past an hour since I started reading this book. "Owie Nate?....." I tried to explain, but he stopped me from any further explanation. "What were you doing that you didn't realize it had passed our agreed time?" I shrugged, knowing he couldn't see me.

Loved this book! The characters are so real and you want everything to work out for them. The author has a wonderful way of making them come to life for you. And if you’re like me I can picture them and the scenes she creates in my mind. I have read this book from front to back at least 4 times!

she said. "You earned it," Clara said. "Forty-three minutes, Lena. In a footnote." "Forty-three", Lena said. "I mentioned the timing specifically," Clara said. "In the recommendation. I thought they should know what they were getting." Lena looked at the clock on the library wall.

Thorned Desires: Claimed by the Enemy

Thorned Desires: Claimed by the Enemy

"That the people who stay are the ones who were supposed to." He looked at the book. "Not the ones who were convenient. Not the ones who were merely suitable." He looked back at her. "The ones who were supposed to." She sat with that for a long moment. Then: "Read it to me." He looked at her. "It's a children's book." "I know," she said. "Read it to me." Something moved in his expression. "All right," he said. He opened the book. He read it in twenty minutes—the whole of it, slowly, in the kitchen with the September evening at the windows and the south garden doing its seasonal work and the house quiet around them in the way it was quiet on Friday evenings when it was simply being held by th

he instructed me. “Alright” Taking the keys from him, I wait for him to leave. “You have one hour and twenty minutes” he added as he decided to leave. My eyes widened. Forty minutes have already passed. I should be quick. I started with the top shelf corner. It took me twenty minutes as I went through every page, reading history, about curses and stuff. One hour passed by and I was losing my hope as only two books were remaining. Only twenty minutes and I went through the remaining two books. My heart was saddened when I did not find the cure. With an angry growl, I kicked the shelf. And a small leather book fell down. Frowning, I took a look and flipped it.

The Inheritance Clause

The Inheritance Clause

POV: Maya Castellano Two things happened on the fifth day. The first was that she finished the novel. She’d been reading in pieces since the first night. An hour before sleep and twenty minutes over breakfast while Kofi answered emails across the table with the comfortable silence of two people who had stopped needing to fill space. The woman in the book did the brave thing on page 247 and then spent forty three more pages learning to live inside having done it. Maya read those forty three pages slowly.

Scent of Desire

Scent of Desire

Eden stopped in the middle of his way as he turned back, chuckling charmingly, “Eli, don’t you dare to go out alone or I will not buy you any novel again.” Shaking my head, I answered instantly, “Never! I will lock myself in the room for the next two days. Happy?” “Yup! Take care.” “Have a safe journey, Brother.” Eden left in a hurry. While flipping the pages of the novel, I dropped on my bed once again. It was quite cold that evening. So, I thought about spending my night while reading the book. 2 hours passed by. I was lost in my book. Suddenly, I heard faint footsteps on my balcony. I asked in a puzzled tone, "Who is there?"

Nineteen Minutes to Extinction

I shouted until my throat tore raw, but the only thing that answered me was dead silence. The clock on the wall ticked on. Eight minutes left until the expected explosion. Heat began to rise through the floor beneath my feet. The energy from below was already pushing through the insulation. I stared at the cuffs around my wrists and pulled with everything I had. Skin split. Blood ran down into my sleeves. I couldn't feel the pain anymore, just a hollow, sinking dread. Were 30 thousand people really about to die because of one selfish woman?

How To Be A Murderer

How To Be A Murderer

If he wants to play a game with me, I will do it. …………………………………………………………………. When I wore my clothes, I went to the school garden while carrying my bag. Then, I sat on the bench. After that, I took a novel in my bag entitled ‘The murderer’s perfect crime,’ its writer was Mantus Taylor. Many people around the globe read his book. I opened the book, and I read chapter twenty-seven of it. “So, you are reading my book.” I heard Mantus say to me. So, I looked at him. He is holding two sandwiches right now. He is also wearing his watch in his right arm.
