When I was born, I was already a certified liar. That's a fact that everyone seems to agree with. The truth is, my mom, who's a scientist, has implanted advanced chips into me and my fraternal twin brother, Ryan Hartwell, when we were still babies. By right, as long as we lie or make mistakes, our mom will receive the devil signal from the chips. Then, she'll administer electrical shocks as a form of punishment. Ryan's chip often transmits the smiley signal. Even if he destroys our mom's research equipment and pins the blame on me, his chip still has the smiley branded on it. Meanwhile, when I reach home ten minutes later than usual because I had to help out a classmate, my chip transmits the scary devil signal. The next thing I know, I've already crippled to the floor from the intense pain caused by the electrical shock. At first, I'll still explain to Mom what happened. But she often exclaims, "Don't think you can pull off clever little tricks just like that gambling father of yours! The chip is ten thousands times smarter than you! The punishments will only be branded into your bones if the pain is searing enough! What I'm doing is saving your life!" "You don't have asthma at all! Ugh, you're kicking up another fuss just to attract attention! Seriously, you never change your ways!" After that, she takes Ryan's hand and leads him out of the attic. Soon, she slams the door heavily behind her. As I suffer from asphyxiation while on my deathbed, I can't help but think that Mom is right. After all, my chip has just transmitted the devil signal. Maybe the asthma attack really is just a figment of my imagination. I've always been a bad girl who loves lying to others, after all. When Mom finds out that this is the last time I've ever lied to her, she must be really happy, right?

My boyfriend, Percy Gaskell, suddenly flaunts an engagement ring on the Internet. He also announces that he'll get married in two months. Everyone thinks I'm the lucky bride who will get proposed soon, including myself. Anticipation fills my heart as I start making wedding preparations. If Maisie is still that disappointing, she shouldn't blame me for being ruthless." His friends all burst into laughter. "You're far too soft-hearted, Percy! Maisie is inferior to Sabrina, be it her figure, age, or bedroom skills! I can't believe you're still giving her a chance! "If I were you, I'd have kicked her out in the first round!" Percy just smiles in amusement. "I only wish to give her a chance because I see how pathetically low her score is. If she can't even use the final chance given to her properly, she shouldn't blame me for not marrying her." I can feel my blood turn to ice in my veins. My mind has completely gone blank. All I can hear is my heartbeat, which slowly becomes louder. With a trembling hand, I dig out my phone and text that man's number, which lies at the bottom of my contact list. "Are you up for a whirlwind marriage right now?"

"Is my touch angering Ms. Gomez?" His fingers traced her bare back, as he whispered in her ears. "Don't worry, I'll fuck you more better and harder than that so called love of yours, Doll," His tongue licked her earlobe. She fisted her palms "So hard that you will beg me to stop," He nibbled her earlobe "What else can we expect from a monster like you. A fucking monster who had tried to force himself on an 19 year old girl," She blurted out. A painful hiss escaped from her mouth, as he grabbed her hairs and pulled them. Her eyes filled with more tears, recalling that inhumanity he had tried to do with her when she was just 19. "I have already paid for that fucking thing, Melanie, with my everything and now you will have to pay for what I had to endure in all these fucking 4 years, just because of you," He groaned, like a caged animal. "You didn't trust me but that fucking love of your life and now look," He brushed his lips over her cheeks. "That love of your life has sold you to me," He pushed her on the bed. "I guess that's enough talk for tonight," His gaze scanned every inch of her naked body, making her horrified. "After all, it's our first wedding night, Mrs Melanie Adrian Salvatore," He hovered over her and she immediately tried to back away but he pinned her on the bed. His hungry vicious eyes bored deeper into her terrified ones. His thumb started tracing over her lower lip. "Now let's make this night the most memorable and painful night of my wife's life," He brushed his lips against hers. "So, she can remember our first wedding night, till the last breath of her life,"
